Fyi (although I'm sure you guys already know this, but not all your viewers might): presunto is just the portuguese word for dry-cured ham, the same way that prosciutto is just the italian word for the same thing.

The channel _This Dad goes to 11_ explains it’s a Portuguese style of prosciutto, and then goes on to add some Portuguese paprika and cures it. So I’m guessing it’s a bit different in taste.

Tried this dish yet added mussels instead/lobster tail meat/ pieces of boneless fish fillet/shrimp. Glass of wine/ sprinkling of grated Parma cheese/ salt and pepper/slice of French bread-felt like I was back in Marseille. Easy meal prep/I’m 77 years old anyone can do this dish

Ok, I must said something about “chorizo” just like any sausage, because that is really what chorizo is, there a thousands of variations. Basque, Galician, etc. I am from Argentina and ours is closer to Italian sausage, than what Americans call “chorizo”.

In Portugal "Presunto" are all cured ham like Parma and Iberico, but in Brasil Presunto is also the cooked ham. Chouriço or Chorizo (Spain) are all the sausages and salamies. The word linguiça is also for sausage but is not common in Portugal, it is used here in Brasil. We don't use chouriço here for sausage and use the word salame as the italians.
