Actually the me-264 was already planned in 1937 and the b-29 was only developed in 1941/42 So it’s more realistic that the Americans stole the design from the Germans But I think they both just came up with that idea individually

Later he177s were much better, but 1944 is not a best time for a german bomber. Also there were prototype of steam-powered me264.

@@deauthorsadeptus6920 How would a steam powered 264 even work? The guts of a steam engine are extremely heavy and weight is the enemy to powered flight.

@@StrikeWyvern this thing was bombed before test fight so we never know. Probably steam engine was simillar to these on nuke-powered prop engines (USSR and USA developed them).

If you meet a fighter, unless they’re stupid and your a good shot, you might live. In short: fly carefully around, bomb and leave as fast as possible while keeping altitude. This is how you play strat bombers

You need to ground spawn, just land on a airfield.

You also need a key bind set

You get them when starting on an airfield, usually after you landed and rearmed since they are meant for takeoff assistance.

In my opinion the He-111-H16 is because it has an HD cockpit, just something better flying with a finished cockpit in a bomber in sim

Yes, the Germans had the most aces, but aerial combat has never been won by aces but by average pilots. Especially late in the war, for every German pilot with a hundred victories to their name, there were a hundred German pilots shot down or strafed on the ground without a single victory. Couple that with the crippling of German aircraft and fuel production by allied bombing late in the war, and no matter how good German designs would get, there's no possible way they could be enough.

But then doing so the analysis misses out vital data. For instance, a bulk of German technological breakthroughs happened between 1936 - 1942. For the British it was between 1938 - 1942. For the Americans it was between 1942 - 1945. For the Soviets it was between 1941 - 1945. Selection of data is important when exploring alternate history what-ifs and could have, would have, should have. The calculus of the points you're making is valid when confining the time frame between 1943 - 1945. If that's your lens to measure German vs Allied air combat prowess, then that's your preferred niche.

@@sztypettto Germany lost the battle of Britain and failed to secure air superiority even before they were being bombed, too. A Germany that had complete control of mainland Europe and had yet to go to war with the Soviet Union couldn't win in the air against a UK that had just lost a very large amount of fighting strength in the retreat from Dunkirk. To claim the luftwaffe was massively superior directly contradicts their actual record in the war.
