You are most likely looking at a Russia spec here, that don't come with a petro particulate filter. I believe this is the first video on KZfaq that shows the true sound of this car, outside of Europe. And the driver pull a rather high rev here, which is usually not recommended by AMG until 1000 miles of engine break in.

It’s really because of the different design of the engine and exhaust itself. It’s not the same as the normal 4.0 liter

How should a flatplane crank sound for you? The sound is 100% flatplane and it sounds much different to other AMG crossplane engines. It sounds now similar to a Ferrari or McLaren V8 with flatplane

@@m.b.6744 it sounds more like a Ford 5.2 flatplane which is more "burble" than a Ferrari and McLaren which sound very smooth
