was here 2 weeks ago driving the AMG GTS around the the track courtesy of mercedes, unbelievable car! had a good look at the black GTR but unfortunately didn't get to drive it, looks and sounds fantastic though.

+Youngprankster94 Haha you keep repeating the same taxi rhetoric as tho its a bad thing. First of all its only e class thats taxi..vast majority of their cars are for people to buy not taxis so nice try. Also....Out of all the german companies they choose mercedes for taxis largly because they are WAY more reliable and WAY more luxurious than Porsche bmw and audi. If anything being a taxi is a compliment...and a testament to the durability of Mercedes. I like both porsche and mercedes but by your logic....Porsche is a vw beetle company! So don't play these pathetic 5 year old games...oh wait I take that back...even a five year old is more mature than that! Lmao the amg gtr spanked the gt3 rs and the gt2 rs so keep dreaming!!!!

Samet Tikiz The Gt3 did a 7.18 min and the AMG GTR a 7.10 Min.. same Magazine.. (SPORT AUTO) same Driver (GEBHARDT).. So the AMG GTR is 8 sec faster.. Which is AMAZING

It was said that the AMG GT R doesn't have much steering lock because not much is needed on the track, so what happens when you're trying to do a 3 point turn on a narrow road (off track)? Does it become a 50 point turn or whatever? Or is the lack of steering lock only when it's set up in S+ for the track? I ask because it doesn't sound very manoeuvrable for every day driving.

Love AMG GTR but the breaks are not on par with Porsche GT3.. You cant run GTR as hard as you can a GT3. GTR needs better break cooling. AMG should have addressed that at the factory.
