You guys' energy is great, Im a big fan of Selena and so happy to see her music still reaching ppl after all these years that shes been gone from this world. Also a lot of ppl pronounced her name [Seh-len-ah] but she said in an interview that its pronounced [Se-lee-nah] lol. Im so proud to be a Mexican-American just like her. :)

This concert was Feb.26,1995 she was murdered a month later on March 31,1995 at 23 yrs old, she would have turned 24 two weeks after she died on April 16

Selena and her back up singer (on her left side) Don Shelton both of them passed away. Selena died on March 31, 1995 and Don died years after Selena. She sang Tejano and American music. Don was in her band for a few years until Selena was murdered, she was only 23 years old. She was almost going to celebrate her 24th birthday in April as well as her wedding anniversary also in April. She was married to Chris Perez her guitarist, they would have shared their 3 year anniversary but her life was cut to short. RIP SELENA AND DON🙏🕊👼🙏🕊👼

Correction, it was in February of 2015 Don Shelton died of cancer-not a year after Selena did. I found out about his death by accident when I was in college at the time and was looking for Selena music to stream online. That’s how I found out he died.

It's pronounced Se-lee-nah. You were able to pronounce Selena Gomez's name. It's pronounced the same way, only difference is her last name is Quintanilla and not Gomez.

@@kingfangs6693 Yup, I've seen that interview. BUT Selena is a Latin name. So it's actually pronounced seh - leh- nah. I could say my name is pronounced fur -nayn -do, but a Spanish speaker would pronounce it the way it's supposed to be pronounced.
