always kept my RF shield on... worked as a good keyboard brace... never understood why people just tossed it off. Even used it when I had a M-tec 020 installed. (a small rectangle part over the 68000 could be removed)

Rf Shields are no longer needed, and it only traps the heat in ... but I do understand what you mean ..

Nice job. CPU was backwards as previously noted. Recommend recapping the board.

I’m sure you must have figured this out, but in the first part of the video you had the CPU in upside down. That would explain why nothing was responding with that board until you tried swapping CPUs and finally put the CPU in correctly.

Thank you .id not noticed it was exactly as it was when I opened it ... I must have correct it naturally checking the silk screen before install test chip .... well spotted ... Good job it didn't kill it :)

This happened to me. I had my Agnus plugged in wrong orientation but worked fine once I plugged in correctly

You have two different revisions of motherboard and the marking for pin 1 on the plcc socket is turned through 90" which would be why the chips were different ways around.

I think the maximum partition was 4GB with Kickstart 3.1.
