Candy Bu a todo mundo. te recomiendo lo leas en voz alta para que to propio oido escuche tus errores y los vayas corriguiendo y pierdas la timides, si puedes enfrente de un espejo mucho mejor. (no es lo mismo decirlo en cilencio donde no escuchamos la pronunciacion)

sería muy bueno que hicierais un vídeo explicando el significado de palabras auxiliares en los verbos como "up" "over" "on" y cosas así, ya que esos auxiliares cambian el sentido y a veces se torna muy confuso :/ saludos! me encantan vuestros videos

según he leído 1 la falta de costumbre al escucharlo 2. No tener vocabulario aprendido Y este punto si que ya lo estoy comprobando ahora ando en proceso de estudio, mientras no sepas palabras, quizá no todas las existentes, pero "lo básico" te ayuda por lo menos a entender el contexto. Así que hay que aprender vocabulario y escuchar musica, pelis, etc... en inglés. Saludos

Escuchen música en inglés y practiquen, traten de entender las letras sin buscarlas, eso me ayuda un montón y tengan confianza en ustedes, confíen que lo que escucharon si significa lo que piensan, no tengan miedo de equivocarse.

Porque muchas personas son más auditivas y otras más visuales, pienso que a los visuales se les dificulta entender un poco lo hablado y a veces a los auditivos lo escrito. :) Bueno, eso pienso yo.

Mickey Macias Soy Colombiana. De Cartagena te recomiendo visitar los museos, el castillo y el centro histórico, también si van a comprar algo de comercio informal, nunca pagar lo que piden porque lo exageran x1000 y si llegan a ofrecer algo tipo: un masaje en la playa o trenzas, siempre negarse. De resto, todo va bien, la comida, el clima, el ambiente. Disfruta el viaje.

JorgeFRP Francisco que te confunde exactamente? te confunde entre el "to & for"? Te puedo dar un ejemplo: The drill is ready to use. The drill is only for that use. That message is important to me. that message is important and it's only for me. The band is to enjoy playing rock music The band is for playing rock music. Espero te haya ayudado un poco, and sorry whether I'm not the best teacher but I tried to explain my self as much as I could've done. :)

JorgeFRP Francisco creo que el "to" en frases como "I need to eat" o "I need to spend money on it" y "I need to sleep" simplemente sirve como conector, literalmente sería *necesito a dormir*, supongo. I need to sleep early for tomorrow's interview (necesito dormir para la entrevista de mañana).

JorgeFRP Francisco Hola. el "to" antes del verbo ayudar a convertir éste en infinitivo. por eso cuando se habla por ejemplo del verbo "to be", se dice junto, "ser/estar". Cuando se usa "for" el verbo termina en "-ing", por ejempo "...for eating" y en general esto suele ser así: to + verbo en su forma simple si así se le puede decir y for + verbo en gerundio. es regla gramatical, pero puede ser que haya algunas excepciones como siempre .-. y en este caso, un ejemplo es con el verbo like, love y creo que want entre otros, supongo. Así, diríamos "I like dancing" , "I love drinking water" y si lo convertimos a "I like to dance" o "I love to drink water" también está bien pero creo que se escucha un poco raro, es más común usarlos con "-ing". espero haber sido clara. :) Saludos desde México. ♡

Hola... El ing se usa con los gerundios verdad, por ejemplo "estoy trabajando" seria I´m Working, pero eso es lo que me confunde "i like playing soccer", yo lo entendira como me gusta jugando soccer jajjaa, pero me explico un amigo que en verbos como amar, gustar, odiar etc, se usa el ing , tu sabes si eso es cierto ???? , el TO ya no me confunde tanto

Question! QUESTION!! Why is it "look forward to exploring" or well "to + gerund" instead of "to + infinitive" as it uses to be? No freaking body has been able to answer me that xD Is it a rule or an exception to the rule, and are there more cases in which this is the way you've got to say it? Idk please help! xD

Wonka0998 Hey, I'm a native English speaker (American) and I think the gerund form sounds more natural. "I look forward to cooking with you" "I look forward to meeting with you" "I look forward to seeing you soon" --> all of these phrases would sound strange to me if the infinitive was used in place of the gerund. I also speak Spanish and when I first started learning, I sort of figured out that English defers to the gerund while Spanish chooses the infinitive. I would say, think about using the gerund instead of the infinitive whenever you use a phrase that would typically use the infinitive in Spanish. For example "gracias por ESPERAR" translates as "thanks for WAITING". Hope that helps.

This video was so helpful for me. I came to the United States eigth months ago with the bases of English but I wasn't fluent in a conversation, I really wanted to improve my English skills and I can say I'm really improving a lot in speaking but in comprehension too. I understood all your conversation and I was thrilled with your video because in less than a month I will be in the same situation as you, I mean, I'm going to travel to Europe and for first time I will use airbnb as accomodation so, this video helped me a lot as practice. I´m not the best english speaker but I try to teach all I know to the students in my neighborhood. You can´t imagine how much I learned from your videos, I hope one day I can thank you face to face. Amigos una de las razones por las que empecé a estudiar inglés fue porque vine a Copenhague a vivir y vaya sorpresa me he llevado al ver vuestro video! de verdad que me reí muchísimo por este video. Gracias por dedicar su tiempo a hacer algo que nos alegra el día mientras mejoramos nuestro inglés. Mejor sin subtítulos, así agudizamos el oído, pero si es importante el pdf con la historia para saber si entendimos todo. realmente son GENIALES. Hagan mas de este estilo. Felicitaciones

Many people will not agree maybe, but is lovely and superior the brittish english than american.
