I finally got to make a few and am now completely addicted to them! ❤ The only thing I did differently was to use a double magic ring as I was making the hearts into key rings and bag charms and I was afraid the mr would come loose. This is such an excellent tutorial, very clear video and instruction. Thank you for sharing. I have made the hearts in a variety of sizes according to the yarn or thread used. I used some no 10 crocheting thread for a couple and they came out quite small and I have used them with my teddies and other sitting amigurumi toys to hold as well as for hair and dangles which I think turned out super cute. Even using the extra thick chenille yarn for an extra soft heart worked well and made a great small pillow to have on the bed or on display in the livingroom. I have even made a couple and attached them by a long chain to hang on the wall, making the chain long enough to tie into a bow and still have the hearts dangle down. I have been really pleased with how they have all turned out. My normal way was to make a mr 6sc, then inc in every st, then inc, sc around to give 18 sets. Then three rows of sc and cut, repeat to make a second but don’t cut, then attach the 2 pieces together and finish the heart down to the point. I love that yours is done all as one piece, so much easier and faster with no extra sewing to shut the gap between the 2 humps of the heart. Thank you again for such a great tutorial and pattern.
