Agree with the “prolonged period of time” bit but there was a year or so where Khan was regarded as the best 140 pounder in the world. When Tim Bradley ducked him and chose not to fight him at that point Khan was the man at 140. But yes it wasn’t for long but still, for someone to regarded as numero uno in the world for however long is still a great achievement.

Sometimes too brave for his own good. I remember when he was hurt against Maidana in the 10th round and the American commentators were questioning why he wasn’t choosing to hold onto Maidana and instead was trying to fight him even whilst hurt. Tbf to him he has a point on the Mayweather fight. Khan in his prime outboxed pretty much most of his opponents, it was his chin that let him down, and Mayweather isn't a knockout fighter... I don’t think he beats Floyd because Floyd figures everyone out BUT that would have been sensational.. he was best sing Canelo before he got caught.. great interview

At that point in time in Floyd's career where he was old and had loads of hand surgery, a prime Khan coming off of a win against Devon Alexander would've caused him real trouble
