Shahid Siraj You are wrong. The correct name is Lyallpur. The city was named after Sir Charles James Lyall who founded it in late 1800's.

Imran Ali Lyallpur ditrict is now known as Faisalabad. But Faisalabad district is broken down into 8 towns. One of the towns is known as Lyallpur town.
