@@guptaankit2791 Sorry cannot agree with you on that. Viru was struggling at #5 position and selectors were thinking of moving him out of the team. Thats when Dada sacrificed his #1 position for him and revived his career. Something Viru has admitted himself in many places pls get your facts right. In fact Dada was like this not only to Viru but also a bunch of other players like Yuvi, Bhajji, D Mongia, etc. which is why even today he is one of the most respected captains in Indian Cricket history, comparable to the likes of Pataudi.

Sachin took a break from fielding in the first innings for sometime (I guess due to some injury or something, I am not sure why he took the break). And the rule is that if someone takes a break, he won't be allowed in the second innings for that much time. The moment it was time for Sachin's batting in the second innings, he still had to be out of the ground for eight minutes. So he could not enter the ground until eight minutes, and the next batsman had to come in his place. Once the restricted time (eight minutes in case of Sachin in this match) is over the batsman can enter the ground to bat.
