I am totally mesmerized. How can he be so great an artist and yet not introduced to general public. In spite of his looks and age, he is as flamboyant as Farooq Abdullah. He should get as good a place in Sufi singing, as Farooq got in politics.He can be a great heart throb in the fashionable ladies of Kashmir festivities. Somebody to push him to Srinagar. At least I shall be in his regular audience and quite supportive with my pension money. Jokes apart, he is a great singer actor; deserving all praise. I bow to his artistry.

His gazals were very famous in 1970 to 1975 on Radio Kashmir Srinagar. He is attending very less occassions and does not allow recordings..

This man is amazing. Hearing him for the first time. I blame myself for it. What a singer, a class apart. No retakes. One take me koi aisi perfection ke saath kaisai gaaa sakta hai...this man is from another planet. Unfortunately never got the fame, but at the same time, someone with such a divine voice does not need fame. It is our loss if we don't know about him and certainly not his.

The way in which it blocks people from the Quran is worse than the way in which other kinds of false talk block them, because people are naturally inclined towards it and tend to want to listen to it.
