About the first story, I'm super glad, that I set up the parental control lock on my switch when I got it. I really hate the fact that by default you cannot decide to put a password on your switch. It's super useful in such cases but also to prevent your siblings from playing on your switch without your consent. I live alone but I absolutely hated it when someone without asking would play with my stuff.

Parental code is nice for locking the Switch... But just for THIS type of problem, simply engraving your name on it is enough. Or, better, do both... I don't know precisely if it's the case with a Switch, but a lot of such devices are shipped with a card where the serial number is written: if so, keep it in your wallet, too.

On the story with a woman's boyfriend who snores: If he has a problem corrected by a CPAP machine, then he NEEDS to use the CPAP machine. Basically, that would mean he's snoring because he STOPS breathing at night. If he's snoring that bad, he's stopping a LOT. This means he could have a heart attack from lack of oxygen, or a stroke. He's also missing out on sleep and hurting his health. I have sleep apnea, and never felt I was getting enough sleep. My late husband told me I snore and I did a sleep study. They found I stopped breathing more then a 100 times in just 6 hours - DANGEROUES. So now I have a CPAP machine and sleep so much better.

I kept reading that as a CRAP machine and kept wondering what that even meant- im sorry by the way about your condition:(
@jeanannd
@jeanannd 2 жыл бұрын
@@Chris_xo - A CPAP machine has a constant forced air supply into your air ways. That way when you stop breathing air is forced into your lungs and you then continue to breath. It works for most with sleep apnea. There are also other types of treatment, including putting a electric device in your brain that acts like a heart pace maker but for the brain, to keep you breathing. This is for people whose brains or nerve system skip and thus you stop breathing.

Story 4: The narrator completely ignored the OP mentioning that they are poor young people. Sleep studies aren't cheap. I think they should seriously consider being a two bedroom couple and the snorer should try to lose a little weight. It'll get better. Meanwhile, anytime she's awake while he's snoring, she should listen for pauses, and keep tabs on if he starts feeling less well rested, as that could indicate he's developing sleep apnea. My experience: My snoring partner was costing me some sleep, but it wasn't a huge problem. Then he went through a period of weight gain, and the snoring got worse. He was less well rested, and I was occasionally hearing pauses that worried me. Like the OP, financing a sleep study was out of the question. We made a couple of dietary changes, he lost the excess weight, and the pauses stopped happening. All good. But over the years, I became a less heavy sleeper, so his snoring was bothering me more. That, in combination with other factors, eventually led to us choosing to become a two bedroom couple. It's been great for us. But years later, I still sometimes check in on his breathing when he's snoring while I'm awake, just to be safe.

He started asking me about it, and I tell him "can't sleep, your Snoring is too loud". I'm perfectly content sleeping on the couch because I can actually get some sleep. He is now talking about getting a sleep study after this going on for years. I have even told him that he has a touch of apnea, because I have watched him stop breathing in the middle of the night. He's a big boy and can make his own decisions, which is to sleep by himself while I'm snuggled on my fabulous couch with the kitty cat 🐈‍⬛

For anyone curious there was an update to the last story made Op showed the fiancé the message and they had a long talk. I saw it too and tbh, I sort of suspected after this video that the OP would show the fiance the message and things went on from there In addition to the initial question regarding what OP should've done, I would've simply said to just let the fiance know what happened. On the story alone about the events leading up to the divorce, the fiance ended up being betrayed by his own family. Had the OP simply gave in to the fiance's older sister's demands, things would definitely get ugly and the fiance would feel betrayed yet again and the relationship and engagement would be damaged on an emotionally severe level. So good on OP for taking the time to show their fiance what happened because it goes to show that the two have a great trust to one another.

With the sleep story, I'd suggest pushing for the boyfriend that sleep study. It sounds like OP's boyfriend has moderate to severe sleep apnea. I've seen all too well that when it gets to the end of its progression. Pretty much the boyfriend's not getting proper sleep, he'll start relying on drinking coffee and frequent naps with diminishing effectiveness. Eventually, one of those naps or nighttime sleeping cycles will end up so deep that his heart stops and he'll die like that. Before anyone doubts what I'm talking about, this is how Robert Micheal Rodinsky, my father, died on December 10th, 2018. Even though this happened four years ago and I was a 28 y/o male, this still hurts when I think about him and I miss him every day, especially when I was the last one to talk to him an hour before my mom and his wife of 32 years at the time found the body.

To the snoring person: snoring could be innocent, but very excessive snoring like how the OP described could be a sign or apnea, which basically means you stop breathing sometimes. It get worse over time and also makes you very tired. OP says they don't want to do a sleep study but that's absolutely important, because if it's apnea he needs a treatment against this breathing stop. Also young people can get apnea. And to the OP: sleep in another room. I know it's not fun when you just moved together, but it's the only way to stop being annoyed at your partner for no reason. (From a person who's partner snores and turned out to have apnea)
@debbiethomas2622

And there should be a way to sound proofing (possibly 3-4 layers of it if you can hear him several rooms away) the other room you sleep in. It may not totally block his hard snoring but could lessen it somewhat. We all know medical anything is expensive but what others have said, ignoring it isn't going to make it go away and is a possible prelude to something much more serious. He needs to take this very seriously, if not for you but fir his own health cause, heaven forbid anything else, he won't be able to be able to help himself much less be there for you.

But before I had it I was always tired, I snored horribly that I had a painful throat every morning and a headache too plus the dryness and I stopped breathing at least 8 times a night. Now I don't stop breathing anymore and my snoring is almost gone or unnoticeable,

That’s funny lol but it’s not about how you sound it’s how you look 👀 she tried to make him seem intimidating and criminal like “stereotyping black men” and turns out the cop saw he was just a dude that had a healthy lifestyle and liked going to the gym lol

Calling bull on the snoring one, my father asked incredibly loudly to the point you can hear him across the floor, but a pillow over the head is enough to mostly stop that and I imagine ear plugs would be very effective

I knew someone who went to her boyfriend's house early in the morning (I think she'd worked a night shift) and found him dead in his bed despite being under 25 years old. Undiagnosed and untreated sleep apnoea triggered a heart attack from the oxygen deprivation. His only symptom was severe snoring

Absolutely, my switch, case, and games cost well over $1,000. I don't know if I could hold my temper because it's my favourite console I put a lot into. I'm SO mad someone would be so easy and quick to lie about taking something SO expensive from a random stranger.

The first story, the EM should have been taken to jail for theft. She claimed the switch was her son's knowing it wasn't. If the man had "accidentally" claimed it was his when it wasn't, he'd have been in cuffs and taken to jail and done time when the amount of the game and all the games with it was added up.

Honestly the entitlement of people and the dishonesty is incredibly disheartening. Mini story : I have a neighbor who hauls scrap and I wasn't super confident in the method on where he obtains the "scrap" and that was proven one day a few weeks ago. He has habits that I won't disclose but definitely some addictions that are costly and obtained without the proper paperwork or prescription. And I don't like being around him. Now I had bought a washer and dryer set on Facebook marketplace and unfortunately I live in a climate that requires monthly pest service and the person I bought it from didn't use said service, so I left them out overnight after I sprayed them with raid. At my apartment complex there's 2 separate entrances to the apartments themselves and the "back" of the building is where the apartments are in a semi circle and the apartments have a view of all of the building. I purposely left them outside on the "front" steps and out of eyesight to air out. We went outside the next morning early to take them upstairs to our second floor apartment and my neighbor was driving through our yard. (It says on the lease you can't do that but he does) and starts backing up his trailer to load the washer and dryer I payed for. I was furious he had no reason to even see them let alone "think they were scrap because they were sitting out so long" (less than 12 hours we unloaded them at 6pm and got up around 6am to get them upstairs) and told me I was lying about having paid for them. He was trying to gaslight me into taking my (new to me) washer and dryer to haul it for scrap. I told him if he doesn't drive away and leave my property alone I would get the police involved and he backed down. I now exclusively use the front door to avoid him and nothing was actually taken so no police report got filed but it's sad I have to watch my back and my property for thievery from my own neighbors who think they are entitled to whatever they lock eyes on. This isn't the first story if you want more I can post my own video about it. Tl;Dr entitled neighbor wants to haul my property for scrap
