Ammo Box Guide for ARK Genesis Part 2

In this quick guide I will show you all of the basics of the ammo box a new piece of equipment in ARK Genesis Part 2. The ammo box allows you to store all of your ammunition in one location plus it has the added benefit of being able to automatically reload defense turrets for your base! Amazing stuff!

If I have a lot of turrets does the ammo go to each turret at an equal amount? And does it still access turrets a lot higher up but within the circle radius?

If anyone can answer asap, I need the Ammo box to put ammo in all the turrets not capped just like 100 each time I fill it up

Ammo box isn't filling turrets 100% and just stays filled. I've checked the turret reload and its 100% reload. A few turrets get filled, other only stay half, and others a quarter filled, even in range. Idk wat to do

It's percentage of the turrets capacity not the percentage of what's in the ammo box. Just a heads up.

@HeatWaveHD That would be because the 100% is considered the amount a full turret would hold on a server with official stack. I am willing to bet your on a server with higher stack size.

So i play on a no whype x 100 server and it has s+ mod, the mod version has infinitive inf space, so my turrets have about 50m bullets/ schards

Crystal is all over the map, and can be found in one of the asteroid belts, honey is as yet non-existent on gen 2.

It randomly chooses which turrets to add bullets to and it sends a random amount to each. Not sure if it's bugged or if it's just bad.

Anyone have a problem with reloading ammo, it won't put anymore bullets in my turrets it's stuck on 5.8k bullets per turret. I have bullets in ammo box and it's a dedi.. any help would be appreciated 🙏

I think it's because technically 5800 bullets or 5000 shards is normally the full amount on official settings so us playing on dedis are screwed.

Wish I could be playing right now but console is having problems with Gen 2. All the servers were over the limit and today wildcard started to fix the player cap.... Now I can't play genesis part 2 on the server I was playing on or any other in fact cause they are all full :(

play single player then. or host your own server with official settings. nitrado has a really nice interface and its fairly cheap for a small server if you are more pve focused. for pvp, you gotta stick to official though for the best experience.

Oh you can still soak, just not easily. People bred dinos specifically for that and it would be a cake walk any people to offline raid bases

If the turret start shot it won't get bullets for 30 minute (that cooldiwn start after the last bullet shoted)

man this ammo box is so disappointing... 1 a 30min timer on reloads Fucking horrible idea, 2 give turrets a Percentage of total ammo of its type in the box... STUPID. Better function: 4mins after combat end attempt to refill turret to indicated amount of ammo options of 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, in the ammo box interface wheel. This would make the ammo box a viable option to those of us who play with Platform turrets enabled (ARK Launch feature ruined by pvptards) allowing us to easily maintain ammo on a Titanosaur Mobile Base, or on a Battle Bronto, or even maintain a TEK SKIFF asteroid miner's defence turrets against those annoying Void Wyrms. But no WC has to fuck it up again.

@@uraura3482 PvPtards ruin games I have no digets LEFT too count the amount of times PvPtards ruined WoW cause they lack the skills to play effectively, and that numbers been exceeded in ARK thank god I can turn Platform turrets back on or I'd just uninstall this massive 300+gb(all the DLC's + Maps & 10 mods) game that CAN be compressed down into just 100gb if they'd only redo the textures into 1 large file folder with sub files & not every texture file in its own folder. The point being if they worried LESS about pleasing PvPtards & more about FIXING the games bug, issues, & PvE problems the game would do better like this useless lackluster ammo crate that's only going to get Battle platform dinos killed when at full encumbrance I can move faster to each of the 24 turrets on my titano & refill them faster that the retarded mesopethicus they stuffed in the ammo crate.

Just a shame there's almost nothing to do in this DLC, all the missions are buggy, unfun dumpster fires, the new creatures are lackluster and their taming methods are nothing but frustrating and grindy. Is there even bosses in this DLC? I mean, I found 1 cave which I didn't feel like grinding through what looked like thousands of mobs, but what's this DLC got? Seems almost like an afterthought to Ark rather than an "exciting conclusion" to the story.

This DLC is exciting, it has cooler creatures, and they are so hard to tame because of how powerful they are, and it takes place in a literal spaceship! What more could you ask for!?!?
