Larry NEVER stops learning. He won't turn down an opportunity to discover and research new processes and techniques. He is a detailing student. And that itself is the very ethos of detailing.

I can't tell you how much I enjoy and learn from you and your videos. It's great that you are willing to share your trade so guys like me can get better at caring for the cars we love at home. It's spurred me to take more interest in detailing my cars and applying your professional knowledge. I have seen all of your videos and can't wait to see future videos to learn something new and different every time. I now detail my family and friends cars for them and it blows their mind what an amateur is able to do with some materials, patience and equipment (and your shared knowledge as a secret weapon.) Thanks for what you do.

I didnt have KZfaq to teach me when I first started. I just bought the stuff and gave it hell. Still today I use same the non-orbital polisher I first bought, because its what im used to. So everything he said about having to move fast hit home with me. So its great to see everything I learned the hard way in a few good videos. The tips, details and advice and products are all right on the money. This would have save me alot of blood sweat and tears ages ago. Very nice work.

I have a BMW Monaco blue, polished it twice but after a week the paint dulled back each time. I did some wet hand sanding to the trouble areas and this time used the meguire's microfiber cutting pad and primed as instructed. It came out great (for a daily driver). That was 6 plus months ago and all I do is wash it now. I will need to deal with "washing micro scratches" in the future but I think I will only need to polish from now on, no need to cut the paint again. Thanks for the videos and advise.

Fantastic video Larry, I've been looking forward to watching this since hearing about it on TST podcast. Regarding pad priming, is it possible (or advisable) to store a primed pad in a zip lock bag so that it can be used again next time without having to re-prime? or is it better off to thoroughly clean the pads and then start again next time? Thanks as always.

AMMO NYC Great video, just what I need now to do my BMW with some badly repainted areas. I was always afraid of taking sandpaper to my car, but with these instructions I will give it a shot, thank you very much! One question, you cleaned the microfiber cutting pads with compressed air, how do you clean the foam pads? On my first polishing job with a DA machine on a red single stage paint Audi, I ended up having to wash the pad about 10 times before I finished all the panels. Is there a less time consuming way to clean it, since it takes a long time to get most of the moisture out of the foam pads afterwards... Thanks again for this great series, I have learned a lot!
