$1.8M Ferrari Monza SP2 First Wash and Detail

This is a Ferrari Monza SP2 (2 seater) produced in 2019 and costs approximately $1.8 million. Clearly this does not have a roof, so washing it with water is not a realistic option. Instead, I used Frothe from the wall mounted Pro Foamer. This set up is for fixed-based locations that use Frothe on a daily basis. I will have more info on this waterless wash system soon. Although not a disaster nor disgusting detail, the paint did have some scratches that required a full paint correction and then clear bra. Once done we applied AMMO Reflex Pro to the exterior for insane reflection and Gelee Pro to the wheels for long term protection. For a full list of products visit www.ammonyc.com. Thank you for sharing a rare opportunity to witness a high-end detail of a very fine Ferrari Monza SP2. AMMO NYC, as always, does a first-class professional job. This one was interesting because of the unique challenge presented by the open cockpit. I loved seeing the special vehicle transport truck in operation. I have never seen anything like that before.

That truck is an amazing idea. I used to drive hook trucks to pickup rubbish from construction sites. Never thought of using one to move expensive cars around.

It's because of Larry that I treated my 'new to me car', a 2019 Genesis, to a highly professional polish. They used very smiliar techniques to get out about 98% of imperfections in the clear and paint areas. The car has got a lot of attention due to this. It does have a few chips to be addressed, but fantastic looking for a 35,000 mile car. Thank you Larry for your videos, where techniques like yours can be had for a typical car buyer.

I can really appreciate Larry’s pursuit of perfection for car detailing. But at some point, I am like, oh boy, what a waste of money, resources and efforts on just a tiny, “could not even see with any naked eye”, type of scratches while all the things going on in this world at the moment.

Did you IPA wipe the Rupes UNO AIO polish off prior to Ceramic coating? Or did you just wipe it off with a microfiber and then coat over? I’ve seen people coat right over it and say it’ll work but I don’t see how it’s possible to not IPA wipe the whole car at least twice prior to coating

Wow.... This may be one of the Top 5 most beautiful cars I have ever seen. Absolutely love the design and curves, and that green metallic paint is gorgeous. The brown leather seats are perfect accent. And that center divider hails back memories of Adam West's Bat Mobile 😎

To get in those " extra thin spaces " I personally would use a Rubber Soft and Flexible Spatula , that you'd spread Cake frosting with . They are very flexible and soft , you can push down and just guide it wherever you'd like to go ! 😉👍🏾

When I first saw that the car didn't have a windshield, I questioned to myself if you needed a helmet to drive it. Lo and behold, it comes with one! 😂 That car hauler is genius. It's absolutely unreal the cars you are pulling. I'd still watch if you were washing Camry's, but these are just insane cars; most of which I've never even heard of.
