I have also learned that since getting my pock-rock that, I can add a looper on the output side, and record a loop of drums & guitar rhythm for playback, and practice leads on top....so cool to be able to work on your own stuff!

I just got one of these from my wife as an early Christmas present and I love it. I have a ton of multi effects,pedals, amps, PA gear, etc. But out of all of it, this is by far the unit that surprised me the most. There is nothing else in this price range that even comes close.

@@sneadmc Sadly you can only use one at a time but you can still dial in some great sounds out of this little thing :)

@@meakshaybura It can't be used wirelessly however, if your bluetooth speaker has a 1/16 stereo input you can come out of the headphones jack on the PockRock into that input and it sounds absolutely fine. Just turn on the pockrocks amp simulator switch.

Great review video ! Nice edit ! I just ordered one from Wally world for $32.99 with the power adapter and free shipping ! I think It will work well for a stereo battery powered guitar amp I'm building ! I am going to use this as a preamp/effects for it ! I had 2 12' fender vintage alnico speakers laying around and bought 2 $9 footnote amplifiers from parts express ! So for $50 I will have a true 2-12" stereo guitar amp powered by 2 9v batteries and 2 AA batteries ! Yee Haw buddy !

I have this one and it doesn't need an amp. Just plug your 3.5 mm earphone on it. There you go, you can play guitar without disturbing anyone around.

Update 1 yr later. The biggest downfall is you can only use 1 delay of 3 OR 1 reverb of 3 at a time. The delay in the Pockrock is very good so I put a reverb pedal after the PR and it gets me where I want then. My reverb pedal has 6 very good settings. The Donner Multi Pad 100 you can use 1 of 3 delay with 1 of 3 reverb together! That's on my wish list ✌

Good review. I have one, but I don't use it very much. I like the effects but I mostly use my pedals. But it's still a good little effects Box. The drums sound quite good too.

Sorry for the dumb question but this is not an amp right this is a processor so you need an amp or like a headphone and for the guitar to make this work correct

Thanks for a great review. I haven't touched a solid guitar in about five years and picked one up this week. I was looking for something I could use to record it on "Audacity" and this seemed perfect for next to no money. I've gone ahead and ordered one for myself. One question, I see you posted this a couple of years ago, is yours's still going strong? At the price point I was wondering how much of a lifespan we can expect from these little gadgets.

@@bernardgobenciong Hi bernard, my PockRock arrived a few days ago, I'm really pleased with it. Back in the day I used a Zoom 4040, this sounds just as good, if not better and is so much easier to use. It records really well so it's just what I was looking for. I'm so glad I found your review.

Hello there.. I have this one for three years and i still love how it sounds. But i do have a problem with that. Everytime i play a note, it makes some noise, and it's slowly faded along with the note. Do you notice that? And if you do, what did you do to fix that problem? I mean you can hear it clearly by the time you demo its clean channel in this video.

Good choice. I have 2 of the Sawtooth ES Strats and the 10 watt amp. The guitars are very good except the pickups. The Sawtooth 10 watt amp is surprisingly good sounding. No need for a speaker swap.

Although it is built with the mindset that it would be for 6 stringed electric guitars. Plugging in a bass will work just as well. Although I do not now how well it will sound with the bass but it will work 🙋 sorry for the suuuuper late reply 😅

i've used mics into stuff like this. you can strap mic carefully into sax horn too. with a first aid elastic tensor bandage or something. Rig it Up! (obviously you need a mic with a 1/4 inch jack to go into machine.)

I just got one of these and I think I may need to return it, it's VERY quiet when listened to with headphones, it must be a mistake because I can't believe anybody would use this as a headphone amp if this was as loud as it got.

Go into the AUX INPUT on the CCrane EP PRO radio then use its headphone jack, volume, bass and treble controls to listen. Or use it as an AMP.

@@baneverything5580 If I understand you correctly you're saying that in order to make this a viable headphone amp I need to buy another piece of equipment that costs 3 times more than what I paid for this? I'm just going to return this piece of crap and keep on using my Amplug and Rushead headphone amps. They might not have all the effects this has but they're functioning pieces of equipment you can actually hear.
