Why do the Stentors hook themselves to the Amoebas to them be eaten by them? They just let the Amoebas eat them in most cases.

Ilikebeaversandeaglesupyourass they can’t really distinguish between an amoeba they are stuck to and any other detritus they might be stuck to. You notice it in the beginning the stentor latched into the amoeba and starts doing normal hunting behavior.
