Was really fun watching Toast play in a ChilledChaos lobby, love that guys content since most of the other YTers I watched dropped social deduction games pretty heavily. He does a bunch of ToS, Modded AmongUs and Project Winter as well as other party games.

A few notes: - While ritualist and doomsayer make giving out roles dangerous, everyone should at least give an alignment (limiting what evils can claim later on) - Keeping an eye on what slots have been filled can be helpful in ratting out evils, since there often is no room - Always check what happens at night. You actually missed the message which said the mayor was visited by another trapper - Any town investigative should provide their info at the start of each day (they cannot die to rit or doom)

WAIT I LOVE THIS GAME, I'm SO GLAD you are showing it off! I recommend once you get used to the game trying all any for a chance for neutral apo roles which are usually game threats I am making some notes for Toast!: 1. You Should claim if you are Town investigative on the first couple of days so that way people can have info! 2. Likewise it is encouraged to claim what you are, usually town does this thing called VFA in which they go down the list to get the ALIGNMENT (like investigative, protective, power, etc) of the person. This is useful so that you can catch evils of guard and force them to commit to a claim! 3. Pirate is like rock paper scissors incarnate, and each DAY chooses a person to duel. That person cannot do what his role says (unless otherwise specified) and must pick one of three options to defend. If you guess the one they picked you win the duel and basically kill them. Win twice and you win the game and you "leave" the town. 4. You can check previous chat logs with pressing the double sided arrow located on the top right of the chat box. 5. it is useful to write stuff down IN YOUR WILL (NOT NOTEPAD!!!) with who you visited etc on most characters, that way town can reference that if you die! I hope that helps with some common questions you seemed to have

You could tell Toast was a bit of a what the hell is going on at the start. That group with Ze, Vic, Platy is very chaotic at times

Terms for roles in TOS2 TI= Town investigative roles which can check others for info. Immune to Ritualist/Doomsayer Tk= Town killing roles which can kill other roles but killing a town member may have consequences Ts= Town support roles which have special powers like roleblocking, proposal and remembering other roles Tp= Town protective roles can protect other people from evils and sometimes town TPow= Town power roles are the strongest roles and each have special powers that, if use correctly can win the game but, used poorly and everything can go wrong NA= Netural Apocalypse are on their own team and their goal is to kill everyone not on their team (ignores roles like jester and exe). After they complete a certain objective, they transform into roles that can only be eliminated by being voted out Edit (thx to rimurutempest6500) NK: Neutral killing roles are roles that only work with themselves and their goal is to kill the whole town NE: Neutral evil roles are meant to cause chaos and have a certain objective to complete and after that, they leave town most of the time CPow: Coven Power Roles that work for the coven and have strong powers that can easily win the game and normally gets the necronomicon early CK: Coven Killing Roles that work for the coven and have the ability to kill and gain more killing abilities when given the necronomicon CD: Coven Deception Roles that work for the coven and main job is to deceive and manipulate the town CU: Coven Utility Roles that work for the coven and are very similar to TS roles and are meant to support the Coven

Welcome to the ToS fold, trapper is a good passive protection role but if you get roleblocked during the trap making then you have to spend another night trying to make the trap again. Keep that in mind if someone claims trapping someone after being roleblocked night 1.

Quick Explenation: So the way the lovers work is, IF you love a villager, you get stat increases, can "care" for them twice a game to give them Powerful Defense (can only die by Tier3, "unstoppable" attacks, which are very rare) that night + clear effects like insanity (from dreamweaver), poison, douses etc. and get lifelinked (if 1 dies, both die). HOWEVER, if a neutral or coven accepts the proposal, you enter a Toxic Relationship . How that works is, you DON'T get a statboost, the admirerer gets silenced for 1 night and you DO NOT get lifelinked. The Admirerer is supposed to tell about the relationship after one day and call out the bad guy.

Pirate is the one evil role that town doesn't have to lynch. It has it's own win condition that requires beating 2 others at rock, paper, scissors. Pirate can side town or side evils. If town thinks pirate is going after other evils, they might leave them in. The same applies to other evils. If they (Coven or Apoc roles) don't feel targeted, they may leave the pirate be.

Watching you stressed (gives me pain), but watching you cook on a new game (with the cogs turning and levers being pulled) brings me joy in the same way (1st week) in Among Us. Congrats on following your instincts, like you always do, to a win... you lucky dog. Don't master this one too quickly... milk it a little... and gain the respect of your peers. 😅

A few things to know about TOS 2: 1. The Ritualist/Doomsayer can guess a revealed player's role to town and still kill the revealed player. 2. You can tell what team each role belong to. If your role is in green, then you side with the town. Purple means Coven, Red for Apocalypse. Aside from Neutral Evil roles, kill everyone that is not in your color (team). 3. Descriptions for each faction: Town: The good guys. Goal is to kill all evils in the game aside from Neutral Evil roles. Town must always have the majority vote because if they dont, they will lose the game. Coven: A team of witches whose goal is to kill everyone who opposes them. They could do many things other than just killing like deceving town, getting information for the town and the list goes on. The Coven has a book called the Necronomicon that allows the holder to deal a basic attack to their target and be seen as innocent to sheriffs. Only one coven member can hold the book at the time and no other factions (not even their teammate traitor) can have this. Apocalypse: A team whose goal is to being the apocalypse to the town. While they start off being the weakest force in the game, if they are left unchecked, they will become the most terrifying force in the game (even more than Neutral Killing roles) as they will transform into a horseman of the apocalypse (informed publicly to town) which can only be eliminated via lynching along with abilities that makes other evils claim their true role in an effort to weed the apocalypse out. Neutral Evil: These roles do not go against anyone in the town as they have their own goals to complete. When they have succeed, they will essentially die in victory, ignoring which faction will win in the game. But they need to take care not to die at night or get lynched (other than the Jester as that's their win condition) as they will lose the game if they do. Neutral Killing: Like with Neutral Evils, they work alone, except that Neutral Killing must eliminate everyone except their own kind (if they have multiple of them, unlike Coven/Apoc, they do not know each other). Usually they are the most capable killers such that they are able to kill multiple players in a single night. Because of their lone nature, they have Basic Defence so that they dont die to coven that easily.

Watching toast won the first game, then unlucky with having his teammates all died / dc’d early for the rest of the stream until that awesome last game was hilarious.

I somehow missed the early days Among Us when everyone is trying hard to win and really competitive...now it is all just a proximity chatting around even in goose goose duck they don't even do task or study their roles now....but I still love watching otv&f group their interaction is still fun, just want to see some sweaty serious lobby every now and then.

Town of Salem did pioneer the modernization of this genre and it all started with StarCraft 2 mods. Both og Town of Salem, back then a SC2 arcade map called SC2 Mafia and another one called The Thing were two projects I was involved in that eventually culminated on this game and Among Us

I LOVE ToS. I haven't played it in forever, but I was obsessed with it back when RPGMinx and Ohm and friends played it. I just can't remember there names. They had twitch chat playing in the lobby. It was so much fun, but to this day I'm still salty about one game that was enshrined into a video where lovely Minx was being dumb and couldn't wrap her head around there being an Investigator AND a Sheriff even tho SHE MADE THE LIST.... so I died for nothing and I still get heated when I watch the video

It looks like you encounter bug with Trapper, well it's early access it's understable. When playing trap on mayor, trap got triggered by trapper. Next night you building the trap but it still show trap is on Mayor. When placing trap on other trapper it got dismantled because other trapper visited where werewolf rampaged. And now at 17:12 it shows that you are bulding the trap and the game allows to dismantle the trap which is shown that is on mayor.

I love this game, the only exception is that it's impossible to stream, because if the streamer dies first the stream is basically over for the streamer, I personaly still enjoy even after the "main character" dies but I understand that watching an espectator might be boring.

Due to more universal appeal of horror genre. Game also become popular on the internet forums and apps. Leading in 2014 to development of Town of Salem. What give people more interactions. Among Us is 2018 game what hit the mainstream, expanding game with more active skill based mini-games and killings. In 2023 Goose Goose Duck come, reintroduction classes to model from Among Us. What previously spread in form of mods.

Town of Salem 2 is amazing Something you might want to remember: - The note taking is good, but it’s also useful to write down what people claim to be in order to keep track of what roles are filled. If you notice too many of a role, you can start deducing which person is actually an evil role rather then a town. - Keeping a last will with details of what you did during the night is helpful, as it allows you to tell people what you did making it easier to confirm yourself as a good guy, even when you’re an evil player. - Faking a role can be difficult, but as you figure out what roles act similar, it become a lot easier to pull off. As you play more matches and learn more roles, you’ll start seeing more and more similarities.
