Fuck!!! What an awesome show! I've known them since they got started in the early 90s and have seen well over 125 shows. I got to be very close with Eddie especially (R.IP) and even knowing the whole band very well, I had his home phone number and we spoke very often! What a kind inspirational soul and heart he had! I miss him so bad to this day... The way these songs were played on this show just put tears in my eyes because I missed everything musical and especially by far the greatest rock band to come out of the last three plus decades! All due respect obviously to the Paul and John collaborations but that was a different time and this band literally saved my heart and soul since I was in my 20' Never once was treated rudely or disrespectfully by any of the members from originals to replacements. Johnny Colt really handed me backstage passes in between songs from the stage in Milwaukee Wisconsin Eagle's Club and then seeing the opening night in a shit show of weather with Jimmy Page in Chicago and then also having front row seats to the Milwaukee performance! Memories that can never be taken from me and I'm so blessed to have had them! I read Steve's book and had no idea of all the behind the scenes drama but they kept it well hidden during meet and greets and backstage encounters. I miss them so fucking much and I'm so disappointed that it's not going to be a proper lineup when the reunion gets back on track. Just wanted to put some kind words out to one of the greatest bands I've ever had the pleasure of knowing! Hope everyone is well out there...

Steve Gorman is one of the baddest-ass rock-n-roll drummers there ever has been. It's too bad the Robinson brothers aren't continuing the band with him, as the three founding members.

Amazing how quickly Jackie found his stride with this group. Quite simply: Chris never met a bad guitarist. Even singer/songwriters like Greene (or Casal) elevated and soared under his watch.

We ALL agree. And if there's one thing 2020 SHOULD have taught us, it's that life is short and there's no guarantee that anyone will be able to live and work like they used to. Chris and Rich: Ya wanna go out on the battle-tested horse that brought you, or another?

I don't know that's going to happen Steve Gorman has written a tell all book... and you know what those are like. He doesn't say anything nice about some of his former bandmates and you can't touch things up with stuff like that going around.

Yeah... Met them on the 1st tour for SYMM tour in Milwaukee Wisconsin in 1992 as a rodie/load in guy who is STILL a promoter/friend & have/was friends with band ever since! Even as quiet as rich seems, he was always so hospitable to me! I've seen them well over 75 times and one of the first times that is memorable was Johnny Colt actually handing me backstage passes between songs from stage! Those guys always said I look like I was having the most fun in the crowd and was always right up front... Too many stories to express but that's where it all got started. Spoke with Eddie not 2 weeks before he passed and wish I knew for sure if it was an overdose or?? There's no official information about his death. The first time I met him in 1992, he bought bloody Marys for him and myself and we sat and just chatted about music etc for hours. Again too much to talk about it makes me cry to this day!

@@davidpetersen6425 *I'm from Milwaukee! Many shows at Eagles/rave. Manager at Pfister...also met Eddie circa -99. And lived in Atlanta--91-93. And I was always looking for info on Ed's death too......

Knowing Eddie as well as I did from 92 until his passing, I know he was a bad addict and he told me many stories of literally being strapped down in rehab etc. He was in such a bad place the last years of his life and I really think it was an overdose. Don't know what else to say but it's nice to know that people reply and read certain comments and references. I'm not a social media guy at all even though I've opened the couch on all of them when they started. This is the only communication I have with people and my health is failing also. Bottom line, it makes me feel good to have any kind of communication because I'm living alone and have no one in my life. Been a drummer my whole life and clearly not working because of what's going on but I just have no interaction with anyone and it hurts my heart and soul so much! Don't know why I went that far in the reply but hope all is well with you.

If you're on any level of music fan you need to listen to all of their music! Just a suggestion but they are such an awesome tight band and you don't find many live recordings of bands that aren't edited and sound as great as they do! I mean Steve playing drums for less than a year or two when they recorded Shake Your Money Maker?!? I've been a drummer for 47 years and in retrospect just listening to the pocket he plays is always the perfect backbone to all of their songs! Everything else goes unsaid of how great the band is and the material they've written through the decades! Tell

No one will ever ever ever compare to Eddie! He was such a good friend and a unique one of a kind keyboard player! I used to call him at home and talk for hours mesmerized that I was talking to one of the black crows before I actually realize he was just a Hired hand in the band. Still he brought a beauty to their music that will live on forever! He was the nicest guy to me on a personal level as were the rest of the band but the fact that he wrote down his home phone number for me one night in Milwaukee and we had a relationship that carried on for over two decades is something I can never downplay and it makes me so sad that he's gone!
