Yes!! I blind bought Guidance after Sharida raved about it and it did not disappoint! Very interesting and get lots of compliments! It’s a winner but I’ve worn it soooo much I had to force myself to put it down. I have a quarter left of the large size and I am going to nurse that. 😅😊

Guidance is probably the most complex scent I have in my collection. It’s my SOTD and I’ve had it on for at least 7 hours and it’s still so thick in the air 🤣🤣🤣 So damn good. Great review. Thanks for sharing 🧑🏽‍🎄💙

Guidance really grew on me. At first I didn’t like it especially in the summer heat. Now I really love it for Fall/Winter. Glad I didn’t give up on it because it’s 💣 now and definitely one of my favorites of 2023.

When my sample arrived I could smell it before opening the package. Super strong and I must admit that I didn’t get it. I’m going to try it again and see if anything changes. Thanks for your dedicated review. Fabulous as always!

Amouage is my absolute favourite house. Interlude woman was my first purchase many moons ago, and Guidance made ten bottles recently, and I have zero regrets. You are 💯 when it comes to nuanced fragrances; no one does it better.

I got a travel size version from Scentbird and at first didn’t think it was for me. But the more I wore it the more I loved it. It’s unique but also not in your face. I also got so many compliments on it as well! Going on my birthday list this year!

I had a 2ml sample of Guidance a couple of months ago. I didn’t get it. I liked it but hated it at the same time. I wanted to try again so I got a 5ml decant from. I get it now. Not a love yet but a like. I can see me loving it as I wear it more. Definitely a slow burn. I can see why it gets a lot of compliments because the true beauty of Guidance is how it smells in the air.

I got a decant and at first sniff I did not get the hype; however, a few hours later when I was sitting down I kept getting this waft of the most beautiful scent. That’s when I knew that it was worth the investment. It’s such a captivating scent, particularly on skin.

I’ve had the same experience on this being a certified compliment getter. The number of times I’ve written Guidance down for complete strangers...look. It’s truly captivating. I wish I’d held out for that 50mL bottle - love that size.

Listen..... I just stopped by to say Sis... YOU DON'T MISS. I purchased a purse spray of Replica's Bubble Bath, and baby, it is for the gworls!!! I LOVE it. As a matter of fact, I love just about every fragrance you suggest. You are the GOAT when it comes to smelling amazing. Let me tell yaaa!!! This fragrance snuck up on me and said BOO!!!! LOVE IT! I didn't at first. I thought what is all the fuss? But I got in my car weeks...yes weeks later, and I got a wiff from my seat belt...huntay! I said what??? My 11 yr old son said it was interesting and he couldn't stop want to smell it. My 21 yr old son said it was intoxicating. LOL Yeah I'm raising lil niche snobs! Its a sexy woodsy high class sweet baby powder scent! ❤❤❤

I bought a decants of Guidance when it first came out because the notes called my name, and I absolutely love it! It I on my Birthday list along with Tobacco Honey in March...I have enough decant to last me...😂 I agree it is not for everyone because you really do have to understand it and I love that about it too. You should do a live chat on fragrances!!

Guidance is well on its way to becoming my signature scent. I would love some suggestions on layering! The longevity is unlike anything I’ve ever tried. I go nose blind to my scents within a week and most fragrances that are long lasting on others, last a few hours on me before becoming a skin scent. This sticks to fabric for weeks and I can darn near taste it when I breathe. 🤣 I wore it today (ONE spritz) and a man asked his wife to ask me what I was wearing. I thought it was my husband but no it was me! Lol!!

I discovered the house of Amouage when Guidance blew up the fragrance community. I finally ordered it after watching SharidaM video. It was a blind buy and on back order. Absolutely love it. I now have 5 of their fragrances and 2 more on the way (Overture & Lineage).

I have had a decant for awhile now. Ive tried it 3 times over a 6 month period now and still cant get with it. Not sure what note it is, but something in it almost makes me nauseous. The dry down is more tolerable than the opening personally. You are absolutely correct on longevity. I tried it out again last weekend and i can literally a week later still smell it on a blanket i used. Ill give it another month or so and try again, but i think Im just one that perhaps isnt going to have that aha moment.

Same girl same. For me, im sure its the olibanum note. I struggle with that mote. It smells like bo to me😢

You described the Guidance experience so well. It took me 4 samplings to understand the scent and now I get why I hated it so much before…this perfume experience is backwards. Most people enter a perfume with top notes that are floral, fruity, or fresh. It’s rare to get an opening so heavy in Hazelnut and frankincense with a bit of pear and saffron peaking a few minutes in. So right away, your brain is like “something missing”? To top it off, the “strangeness” of the opening is freaking loud on the way to something recognizable like the sweetness from florals and aromatic resins, and woods. It wasn’t until I prepared myself to expect a gourmand experience with pear, saffron, and hazelnut that it finally made sense to me and started enjoying it. Until then, it was registering to my nose like BO from a diabetic. Btw, I learned that Akigalawood which sounds so exotic and cool is basically good ol’ patchouli😂. That’s why it lasts and blooms in heat! Go figure.

Got 50ml couldn’t splurge on a 100ml but if I love it I’ll get the big bottle for Christmas Update: the opening is extremely sharp almost medicinal to me but as it dries down it gets creamy, floral and sweet. I’m also getting a powdery vibe which kinda reminds of Narciso’s poudre but toned down.Definitely unique fragrance …I might get the 100ml after I play around with it .

I smelled it once and I want it but I would layer with something else as I love the dry down but opening is different… what would you layer with? Body lotion or oils? I want to make the opening more fruity

I didn’t like it at first, the dry down got me. Made me go back and try it again. Same thing. The first wiff was confusing… but I anticipated the dry down and same thing - LOVE IT. Such an interesting fragrance. I’m going to get the 50 ml!!!

Do you find that guidance seems to be more intimate than beast mode? I see all these comments on Tik Tok and fragnantica that states that the fragrance is BEAST. However I have gotten several decants, as well as several mini samples, as well as one full bottle from Neiman and Marcus and also one full bottle from the actual AMOUAGE site… all of my samples and my decants and both full bottles are so… intimate?? Like I don’t feel like I’m being “choked out” by the scent as people have been known to comment. I know for sure my decants, samples, and full bottles are all authentic since they ALL smell the same, and were all bought from different websites and not just one place. Anyone else feel like it’s a soft intimate scent and not a BEAST? I can’t tell if my nose is broken. The scent definitley lasts long… it just seems to remain soft .

I share your sentiments exactly. I tried a sample in store, and it was intimate. I tried a sample from the website and still intimate.. I even have the new 46 extrait and it's intimate as well

Looks like the community which gets guidance decants all miss the vibe. I have not heard of a single person who bought a full bottle and has either returned it or given it away. 😊

A lot of people have returned full bottles. People have mixed reviews of it and that is ok. I think you should explore more in the fragrance community and broaden your horizons of opinions and view points. Thanks for watching.

Unfortunately this is a hyped fragrance that is not for me. Glad I tried it in a decant size first, it’s definitely unique but I just couldn’t rock with it, not for everyone 🤷🏻‍♀️

Guidance just doesn’t agree with my skin or nose! So sad since so many adore it. I just kept trying it and it’s just a big no for me. I got it through scent bird and I just don’t care for it. So people probably shouldn’t blind buy it.
