@@BatgirlStan I think he/she doesn't want to confuse it with North Korea, even though it is so obvious where is dubbed. I mean have you seen a North Korean dub of this? They are so isolated that they hate any Western propaganda and that's why we'll never see a North Korean dub. And in fact North and South Korean are just like comparing Latin Spanish to Castilian Spanish or Serbian to Croatian.

@@legbender1584 Ikr. It has some differences but even English has like from British, American and Australian. But it is so obvious that all Korean dubs come from South Korea, because North Korea is so isolated from the world that I'm not sure if they dub or air cartoons there but I guess not, except brainwashing propaganda from the government.

Seems they don't get paid well there and that's why their dubs are so so mediocre ;/ Most of them just barely even try.

Romanian speaker here, I honestly can't tell if the actress was given bad direction in that scene or if the dubbing company itself is just shady. I watched a few other episodes of the Romanian dub and while her performance isn't the best, she's got some good line deliveries. Her take on "LET'S GO ROB AN OLD MAN!" is really funny to me.

@@PJBgamer Romanian dubs are weird. As Bulgarian I don't know why but I find many Romanian dubs quite weak and mediocre despite I like Romanian language. My assuption is the VAs don't get paid very well in Romania and that's why they just don't try? Some Romanians say it is not about the money but in general Romanians are like "It is just a cartoon who tf cares?" So I'm wondering what is your opinion about this?

@@HeroManNick132 I guess the apathy toward cartoons might contribute to it sometimes, which sucks because I like seeing stuff dubbed in Romanian even if I prefer watching shows in English. However I’ve seen other episodes of the Romanian dub and there are other parts where the voice actors do a great job. Also, here’s a funny thing I noticed, but Hop Pop’s memetic “I don’t feel safe.” line is actually changed in the Romanian dub to “M-a cam sperie.” which translates to “She kind of scares me.”

A little note, in the Bulgarian dub (4:11) HopHop says that all she needed now was practice. Basically he should've said "Сега се нуждаещ от опит!"

Hate that the French version says "This girl scares me" instead of the regular "I don't feel safe" joke. The humor on that scene was kind of cut, due to the actual translation not fitting the rhythm of Hop Pop's speaking as well as the tone the voice actor took (Which is my biggest gripe because SO many cartoons and animes are butchered by French translations in both speeches and emotions given to the audience). "Je ne me sens pas en sécurité" is the proper translation.

As a Dutch I need to ask 1 thing and point something out. Question: why is there a german flag at Dutch? And point out: the dutch voice actors always sound NOTHING like the origonal cast. To the point that it is a meme here in the Netherlands.

It is not the flag of Germany, it is the flag of Belgium, because the Dutch dubbing of amphibia is also mainly made in Belgium.
