@@jason5276 thanks for the info, I bought it. I noticed that the strummer tab and the chords section in the riffer disappeared in this guitar... I really like the AI riff generator however, it would be really cool to insert a lot of new styles for it (not only djent or modern metal)

Thanks! I don't think there's much to teach to be honest, I just either draw the vibratos by hand (remember the pitch can only go up when you bend the string) or then use the auto vibrato feature (modwheel + "auto mod" in the guitar's settings). You can download a MIDI file of my AGVC demo to see how I do the manual vibratos with the pitch wheel kzfaq.info/get/bejne/huCchbyAm77Xe58.html

Really amazing stuff !!! Love your composition and the amount of detail you put into the tone and realism of each instrument. In your opinion what is the difference between this guitar and the Ample Metal Eclipse (AME) besides the obvious number of strings? Would it make sense to purchase the 3 in 1 Metal Bundle offer by Ample Sound? If so , why? Thanks in advance.
@Tremendouz
@Tremendouz 4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I'd say AME sounds fairly similar so if you're on budget I'd probably buy just one of them. I can't really say which one I prefer cause both are fantastic but if you need to go below 6 string drop C then AMH is your choice. I personally prefer the J bass with the pick expansion to AMR but it's more expensive. AMR is still good but the J bass has a fuller sound.

why even learn instruments if we can focus on composition now days! lol such cool tech. sounds so real. Does it come with DI tracks btw?
@Tremendouz
@Tremendouz 3 жыл бұрын
They're indeed great songwriting tools and even capable of being used in final productions for hobbyists like me but nothing beats the human feel of a real guitar performance in the end. I'm not sure what you mean by DI "tracks". The guitar samples are dry DI recordings so you need to either use the built-in amps or 3rd party amp sims to get the distorted sounds. Btw, you can download a couple of AMH project files from the Ample Sound website (I think you need to be logged in?) to see how they were put together (this project of mine is not included).

@@Tremendouz Awesome thats good to know. I was just making sure the Amp/effects weren't baked on like some VSTs. For those of us that will never play live, i think its a great way to put out our creativity. Ive spent so many hours practicing just so a machine can play better than ever in a matter of minutes of writing music. So on that front I might just sell all my guitars lmao. Very cool how far tech has come.

@@terran236 Yeah it might be good for productivity, but real guitar just has the kind of depth that cant be replicated, especially double-tracking with VSTs always lacks some width that you get when you have 2 real guitar takes that have their own little mistakes.

Man, does this guitar sound fucking great, those palm mutes and sustain, do you play them on the keyboard in real time? I mean that this new guitar gives you the option to play "freely" on the midi keyboard and perform palm mutes and sustained guitars like the ones in your video ??? because on other guitars like the eclipse metal it is practically difficult to play "freely"

@Tremendouz
@Tremendouz 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! You can disable the amp + cab section completely and in the effects section (EQ, reverb etc ) there's a bypass all button. Or you can choose the "bypass fx" preset for the whole instrument
@ProphetSteel

Ahh yes are you routing yours through an fx channel and sending the hellraiser to that or do you just drag it on top on the channel itself?

@@Tremendouz how do you split ample guitars stuff into 2 outputs?
@Tremendouz
@Tremendouz 2 жыл бұрын
@@snesmocha You can probably do this in multiple ways and it varies by DAW but you could send the left channel to one track and right channel to another either with some utility plugin or the DAW's routing options. However when I (rarely cause most of my amps are stereo) need to do this I simply render/freeze the DI without effects into one stereo track, then explode it into two single channel tracks by right-clicking it. I think in Reaper it's under the item processing menu

How did you get hellrazer to have such strong pick attack, whenever I use hellrazer it always sounds ass
@Tremendouz
@Tremendouz 2 жыл бұрын
There are a few different things you can do. First of all, set the sample start time to 0 ms in the ADSR settings and the release to minimum (50 ms). Next, you can enable the button (one of the 4 on the right side) that adds extra pick sound to polyphonic playing (so power chords, including mutes, as long as the notes start at the same moment). You can adjust the volume of the fx by raising or lowering the FX volume slider in the main GUI. This setting helps a ton with chugs. If you don't want this effect to all polyphonic, quantized chords for some reason, you can disable this and instead use the up and downstroke 1 & 2 keyswitches in the high range of the keyboard to manually overlay stroke noises where needed. This also works for single notes so it's a good way to emphasize palm mutes. Plus, you can do things like mix up the 4 different strokes, leave some notes in a sequence without them etc. to add variance. The "grainy" knob in the body of the guitar seems to add some extra snappiness to the attack of the notes. Finally, dial in a tone that has enough bite that the chugs cut through, and enough gain that the chugs are powerful but not so much that they become muddy. Related to this last one, set the velocity sensitivity in the instrument settings to minimum so that when you lower the velocity to trigger mutes, they won't be much quieter than the sustains. Hope this helps a bit!
