the meaning of this song. He was crying every time because he didn't have money though he has strength but he didn't have money to buy shoe. so one day as he walk and ssw clipple man without shoe.so he said to himself why he cry and ,also he didn't have childrens so he worry that he didn't not have childrens one day he saw someone who have 7 childrens all of them die one day also he saw someone have 4 childrens all of them a Thieves, so he would not cry anymore because not him only have a problem.but only Jesus christ will set him free.

"Gyaesu" in Akan means "Stop crying/weeping". It's actually an Akan gospel song which seeks to encourage persons who are sad as a result of their bad situation to stop crying/weeping with emphasis that there are others whose situations are far worse. That why should he commit suicide over his situation when there is someone else who is anxiously wishing to be like him. That he was always weeping over his inability to get a shoe to wear until one day he came across someone who didn't even have legs to wear a shoe. That he was always crying over his inability to give birth until one day he came across someone who had six children yet was burying all of them in one day. As such he needs to stop crying/weeping because his situation is better than that of others. That if God is able to provide for the birds of the sky, how much more will he not provide for you who is created in his image {no matter your situation}, So stop crying/weeping over your situation. Hope you understand my interpretation. I also love listening to South African gospel songs especially that of Rebecca although i don't understand the lyrics. God bless you.
