Whatever voluntary works we do, be it fasting, nafl prayers, Quran recitation, dhikr and sadaqa. We can donate the reward to them, without it diminishing your reward in the slightest. Just make the intention; be it to facilitate and hasten their victory, keep them steadfast and fulfill all their spiritual and physical needs etc. The Scholars say there is a basis for this, as our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW sacrificed an animal for his Ummah. JazakhAllah khairan Shaykh Omar, may Allah reward you and your family abundantly for all we benefit from you. May Allah SWA give you a long life. Allahumma Aameen, ya Rabbil Alameen.
