AMRITSAR STREET FOOD TOUR
Another city, another street food tour! This time I am in Amritsar and let's start with your favorite and mine, street food.
We walk and rode around the labyrinths of streets around the Golden temple and tasted the flavors of Punjab - my favorite Punjabi samosa, jalebi, matthi, sohan halwa, kachori, satpura, and of course Lassi.
There's lots more to the food scene in Amritsar- stay tuned!

I'm from Mumbai too and if you happen to be in Baroda, Gujarat, you have to try "Puran Singh's Khaana Khazana" ...its a very very small place but trust me I'm a foodie and my taste buds are really fab :) you will just fall in love with their cheese naan and butter chicken 😍😍

There is a place in Parli Vaijnath (a small town in Beed District of Maharashtra) called Balaji Sweet Home.. They make THE BEST Samosas in India!! Yes you heard right Best in India!!

Seeing you eat that malai & fried tasteless matthis.. I trembled in fear and prayed. Boss every little indulgence extracts a massive price. To eke out a little bit of pleasure one has to eventually pay out massive amounts of suffering and dukh.. But you missed out the real Amritsari delight. Amritsari Kulcha. Must try them out at Pehlwan's and Mastana. 👌 Food at Kesar's Dhaba. Excellent.

Toh sir, yeh sab kha keh patta chala hoga, ki food culture kya hota hai and how $hit food is there in Maharashtra. Hari Om! Tohra fish and mutton try Karo ...aur patta chalega khana kya hota hai and most imp, taste kya hota hai. Mumbai tops the list of Gu food...Pune is slightly better if one knows wher to go...other states...well all shit. Nanded onwards things become better.

@@KhaaneMeinKyaHai for your info, an old( opened in the 19th century) sweet shop ' Ghantewala' in Delhi's Chandni chowk,( since closed down) was famous for its Sohan halwa, which is a pure ghee, maida concoction which like a toffee, sticks to your teeth. Though the shop owner selling satpuda, said that they had picked up the recipe from bengal, but as a denizen of kolkata, I haven't come across anything similar here. We make bengali samosa called ' shingaara' and a flaky savoury item called ' nimki'. Khaate raho.

Mr Kunal- Very disappointed at your review of this Giani Lassi. It was horrible mix of real lassi and butter that can be tolerated. I went to this place with my family - because of your video - at Amritsar and was totally not with your artificial words of praise. That gives me a doubt of all that your keep appreciating. lol , this is very embaraasing. You went to a wrong shop. Gian di Lassi is the original and oldest shop started in 1921 which is next to Giani lassi (where you had lassi)
