So glad to see you reacting to Rocky’s new MVs! I was also surprised at the sound for Jealousy but his vocals are so good (indeed he choreographed it himself, and this time we got a dance practice as well as a choreo MV). I did not realize what We Still Love You would be about just from the title and thought the song was cute and upbeat and then saw the lyrics…but that’s Rocky in a nutshell. A lot of his songs are deceptively bright (No I Don’t, S#1, Find Me) but have really sad lyrics. The subtle storytelling he did in the We Still Love you video is brilliant, him sitting alone on the bench off to one side with a space left beside him, gazing up at the sky where the lyrics to the song are written, as if he’s sending the words skyward, and him frozen while the rest of the world continues around him. Thank you so much for reacting to Rocky, and definitely check out the rest of the album (Read You is an epic ballad). Please also do react to Sanha’s solo debut when it comes out!

21:59 lol yess, I think that's bc ASTRO tends to do more pop/pop ballads, and the songs Rocky contributed to ASTRO were almost always pop ballads, but 'We Still Love You' is pop rock, so "rockyfied" (for the rock element, and Rocky) actually fits perfectly 💜 I feel like the song being upbeat was a good choice as it seems to represent how the world continues to move, or the difficult attempt to be optimistic or move on with your life, while struggling with the feeling of missing that someone who left. The lyrics made me cry, but I'm grateful that he expressed his honest feelings in this song :( Anyway, I was waiting for your reaction, thank u sm!. Jealousy and this whole mini album is so good. He brought some of my favorite musical genres to his discography.
