As a Dutchman, I think Schiphol has served its purpose. It's time for a new modern airport preferably NOT in the North Sea!

Estuve en ese aeropuerto en septiembre de 2022. Llegué procedente de Barajas y tenía que hacer conexión hacia Ezeiza. Me costó muchísimo encontrar las pantallas con la información respecto a que puerta debía dirigirme para embarcar porque estaban muy espaciadas y la señalización tampoco era buena. Supongo que contribuyó el hecho de que mi vuelo llegó con retraso, no me quedaba mucho tiempo para hacer la conexión y eso me generó un bloqueo pero por suerte encontré un matrimonio argentino que estaba buscando lo mismo que yo y entre los tres encontramos por fin un monitor donde estaba la información que necesitábamos y pudimos llegar a la puerta de embarque con el tiempo justo para abordar nuestro vuelo.

Me gusta descubrir aeropuertos si tengo suficiente tiempo. pero, por supuesto, hay mejores maneras de pasar el tiempo. 😜

If you have a valid visa for Europe it's possible to leave and enter the airport

It depends if you leave the transit area or not. As long as you stay in the transit area within the airport, then you don't need a visa

Hello, I have a question, I have a 10-hour layover at Schipol airport, my flight arrives at 23 p.m. and does not leave for the United States until 9:00 in the morning. When I arrive at Schipol, do I have to pick up my bags and wait a couple of hours to check in again them ?

That depends if your airline does an automatic luggage transfer or not. You can find this on your booking information or you should ask the airline staff at check-in. If it's 1 booking and the self-transfer isn't specifically mentioned, then it's probably an automatic luggage transfer
