Amsterdam is beautiful. Love the horse drawn carriage. The Bitterballen looked good. Those apple stuff looks delicious! I used to make those special brownies in the 60's in Yorkville, Toronto and and the Haight-Ashbury district of San Francisco, California for one July in the 60's as well.

Amsterdam is a great place to visit , went there from UK for Queens day about 10 years ago... the people are so friendly and fell in love with the city, i am from London and thought London was great.... how wrong was i.... and it was not drugs that took me there

Love Amsterdam, been so many times I can't remember, 8x I think. We hit the pot shops hard, but that new arty regenerated area looks cool. Can't wait for Berlin, I've been twice but only for work, still loved it.

I just came across this gem. Especially for me, living in Canada, seeing my aunts house appear in your video. The boathouse that is light gray/blue with the pink flowers in view and the circular tower where everyone puts their flyers in the background ( around 3 min mark). It still makes me laugh, thinking of all the cameras flashing, and the photo albums I'm probably in sitting in front of the window with a cup of tea. We used to put on Christmas hats and fave at the passing tourist boats during December , I loved it as a kid. I miss my Country so much!

DON BALL I didn't like Berlin it wasn't any different than any major city! if you want to get German food it's better to get out of berl8n and hit all the small towns! go sit at the cafes around the markplatz that every German town has! sit and drink some hefe and watch people!

Bitterballen you can get literally everywhere in the Netherlands. You also should try Frikandellen and Kroketten. I am Dutch but have not been to the Netherlands in more than 3 years, by the time that I am going next year it will be nearly 4 years and I miss those things sooo much, that will be my first meal, Dutch snacks haha.

Nice work guys! Happy to see you enjoy The Netherlands, well a small part of it anyway. Flammkuchen (flamed pastry) are actually German and is a sort of thin pizza-bread. Bitterballen are just the best snacks in the world, they shouldn't be that hard by the way. It should be about the inside, not the breading. What's usually in it is a meat -ragout. The rectangular variation is the 'kroket' which is famous an delicious too and you can even get those 'from the wall'. Oh and 'de koffie schenkerij' translates a bit as 'The coffee pourers'.

Clogs are actually safety shoes for when you work with Cows, they keep you dry and warm, and protected against hooves, they are VERY practical , do not walk on stones/tarmac, or indoors on clogs.. gardening/farm wear!!

It's in the tourist area, so they aren't to overpowering,....but, you can ask for the non tourist stuff and get stronger ingredients ;). Cheaper too,...be bold m8, just ask.

We went a couple of months ago, that was our 5th time there. Lots of tourist traps and if you don't play your cards right it can be just as if not more expensive than London. Also plenty of over rated museums, but it's easily one of the most beautiful cities I've been to. There are some easy tips on our page.

I am Dutch but never had anything that had drugs in it and I never will. It's not that everybody uses it. It's only famous for it but why.... Just as the wooden shoes and the tulips. No one has wooden shoes in their homes and tulips are just as popular as all other flowers. But bitterballen I looooove! And don't ever buy cheese in a cheeseshop in Amsterdam. In the supermarkets you have the same cheese, 4 times cheaper!!

Actually, labourers do use wooden shoes as they are counted as steel toe caps, while much more comfy in the summer.

Hey thanks for yet another enjoyable video. I'm guessing tomorrow might be a bit of a slow start for you after those 'special brownies' you were scoffing! It would be really cool if you were travelling on to Berlin on the Deutsche Bahn ICE train. Just over 6 hours, centre to centre, so not too much longer than flying. Very relaxing and fairly inexpensive way to do the journey. Hope you continue to have a great time...

It's probably best for most to avoid the ganga and pros if on a tour like yours. Those cakes and brownies can be very strong, and you can over dose and end up stoned or being sick very easily if your not careful. As for the pro's, you need to be careful with a camera in that area, they don't like being filmed and can get nasty.

So many tourists no wonder people can`t afford to live on the canal the tourists took over i feel bad for people who live in Amsterdam. But it`s a beautiful city no doubt. Thanks for Sharing. Also can you please stop saying Awesome all the time you over killed the word but still love ya lol
