Greetings all! In this short video we have the Amtrak Adirondack northbound train #69 en route to Saratoga Springs, New York arriving and departing from Croton-Harmon in Croton-On-Hudson, New York. The Amtrak Carolinian service is a 381 mile long route that operates between New York, NY and Montreal, Quebec Canada. In March of 2020, Amtrak discontinued service to Canada due to the pandemic and the closure of the US/Canadian border. Out of the 3 Amtrak services that currently serve Canada, the Amtrak Adirondack train was the last train to resume service in Canada in Spring of 2023. In June of 2023 service to Montreal was once again suspended due to track conditions in Canada. As of Sunday September 10th, 2023, the Adirondack has returned back to Montreal.
