Train #1 - My train out of Irvine, CA. 1:30PM. Amtrak Pacific Surfliner #774 with F59PHI #456 in the lead.
0:29) Train #2 - 4:03PM. Amtrak Pacific Surfliner #785 passing through Palm St. Cabcar "Point Mugu" #6907 leading with a very nice sounding K5LA !!
1:44) Train #3 - 5:57PM. Amtrak Pacific Surfliner #580 with F59PHI #457 leading the way.
3:05) Train #4 - 6:15PM. Coaster Cabcar #2301.
3:35) Train #5 - 6:30PM. Amtrak Pacific Surfliner #591 with the 9 car Del Mar Block. F59PHI #454 leading a northbound! F59phi #457 trailing.
4:45) Train #6 - 6:58PM. Amtrak Pacific Surfliner #582 with P42DC #188 leading with a nice sounding K5L!
6:01) Train #7 -7:58PM. Amtrak Pacific Surfliner #784 with F59PHI #453 leading.

I travel long distance by Amtrak trains, it beats driving, flying in a sardine can and the airlines want to cram more seats and make flying a torture test and the intercity buses, forget it. I will be riding Amtrak more often in the future.When I go home to the Civilized San Diego area I will be riding the Pacific Surfliners between San Diego, Los Angeles & Oxnard and Metrolink commuter trains in Los Angeles and the San Diego trolley more often.
