This video shows our very proud Amur Tiger mum, Ronja, with her three 19-week old cubs. The girls had an exciting day watching their pool being filled up with water. Just like any kids who see hose pipes and a pool; you have to make sure everyone involved gets very, very wet! After a slow start at their investigations of this cold, wet water, which proved too much for their curiosity to ignore, they very soon were happily getting as wet as they could, splashing as much water over as big an area as they could reach...and then going to give mum, Ronja, a big hug!
The Big Cat Sanctuary is set in the heart of the countryside at Smarden in Kent. The peace and tranquillity of the site provides a sanctuary and excellent conditions for the successful breeding of the beautiful, yet endangered cats both large and small within the European Endangered Species Breeding.
