Speed is a water roller coaster manufactured by Intamin of Switzerland. 4K On-Ride POV, Energylandia. The attraction features a vertical elevator lift and a couple splashdowns at high speed. It is a visually impressive ride with a straight 45-degree drop down to the first splashdown. The ride hits over 100kmph and has a height of 60 meters. #intamin #energylandia #rollercoaster #pov

I’ve only been to a couple of theme parks (we don’t have them here and could never afford big holidays!) but when I was 14 we went to Florida and whenever I see a water ride I get flashbacks to Universal - I got soaked on a ride, was wearing jeans. The chafing from the wet denim was unreal. I was walking like a cowboy by the end of the day! LUCKILY it healed really quickly so didn’t ruin the trip but any time I see a water ride, I wince remembering that chafing.

Enjoy coasters when you're young. I used to ride every coaster at any amusement park and after a while I didn't get the same thrill as I used to. No matter how "Insane" the coaster is I always feel a bit let down. I dunno maybe it's because of my age now. Still go on them and usually by myself since everyone is always afraid of going.

I think that's a natural part of aging. We produce less dopamine as we get older. The most we produced is when we are young. Which is why their is nostalgia.

At least this one works. Not like Pilgrim's Plunge at Holiday World that was a big disappointment and eventually removed.
