Damn, I was 16 years old when I first found this AMV. It's what introduced me to the world of AMVs. To think it was one of the OG videos I added into my "Favorites" playlist I have. In 13 years this playlist has only gotten 186 videos added to it, despite me easily watching hundreds of thousands in that time.

In my opinion this is actually the best amv of all time. I remember seeing this video for the first time after highschool and knowing nothing about blackrock shooter, but still thinking that was the most badass fight scene.

kieran johnson Agreed. This anime borderlines on having an incredibly deep message to weird and seemingly meaningless plot, and unfortunately it tips towards the latter. Fight scenes were awesome and action packed though.

OVAs are the tv anime series that very closely follows the manga that inspire it. Usually the OVA and non-OVA are made for the same series, but not everyone liked how things ended. Like Guilty Crown, the main guy lost his right arm, and ends up blind at the very end. If they make variant tv series, the ending would most likely be changed.

Ah, I'm glad. From the others I had found it seemed everyone used only clips from the alternate world in their AMVs and while that world looks awesome, sure, it's the human world that allows for emotional significance which is needed for a good AMV. Thus is pretty much exactly what I wanted. The only complaint is the lack of Yuu in it, but I can't really complain since I know there's a lot to squish in and you already did an amazing job--love the chorus fighting parts, well edited!

Some people ACTUALLY have damaged ears and can't hear properly you know. Be a little sensitive. I myself have damaged ears (Tinnitus), though not to the point that I can't tell what is really said, but still, there are those that have trouble with their hearing that it could legitimately sound like "opened my ass" to. Edit: Obviously I am joking (Though, I do really have Tinnitus and it honestly is possible for someone to have damaged ears and have problems telling what is really said, but for the most part I am joking, this is not to be taken seriously and start an argument).

Because it's a running gag that people like to copy and paste to seem funny. Edit: It's also very, very, easy to know, almost immediately upon supposedly "mishearing" the lyrics, that there's no way "ass" is being said in place of "eyes." I'm sure that no one honestly thinks "ass" is in the lyrics, they just want easy upvotes.
