Amy, I went through a heart attack and a quadruple bypass almost six years ago. As matter of fact this February will be six years. I had been feeling like something was not quite right. Pain in my upper back, shoulders and arms. Dr. said I was fine just arthritis, so we went to Myrtle Beach for a month to get out of bad weather. While there I had the heart attack and surgery. I thank God every day for my recovery. I almost didn't make it but with the power of prayer I did.

I've never been embarrassed to say I truly love Amy Grant. Not in the stalker, crazy way, but when I was struggling to make sense of my spirituality, I discovered Amy Grant...that smile, that voice, that face, and those kind and uplifting words. I was once a healthcare professional, but I would never have gone near an operating room with Amy Grant. You would not only hold the life of this beautiful soul in your hands, but also the soul, the laughter, the tears and the love of millions of people. So glad she made it through and I pray she will be with us always.

Amy has a really big heart. She is one of the most genuine and caring people that I have ever met. She regularly hosts a therapeutic veteran's song writing event at her farm. I went about a year ago. It was a life changing event. She has invested in a PTSD therapy treatment protocol. That uses musical notes to help the brain heal itself. She has turned her farm into a place of healing, and a retreat. For people who need to know they are loved. She is an amazing person.

Amy was pretty in her 20s but she is stunningly beautiful at 60.

Amy Grant’s early albums (Age to Age, Straight Ahead, Unguarded) are still some of my favorite!! Her music has had such a huge influence on my life and spirituality ✨❤️

Thank god that sweet woman will be around for many more years. She's a real treasure.

I saw her in concert years ago in New Orleans. I had fallen in love with her song "Lead Me On," and I bought tickets for all my friends who weren't even into Christian music. When she sang that song, I got tears in my eyes. Everyone in the concert hall was cheering and waving their hands. We all had a great time and still talk about that night. I have also been through similar heart surgery, so I know a little about what she's talking about. Best wishes, Amy!

Amy, April marks 7 years for me. I was drinking heavily, 270 lbs divorced with two kids. I turned back to God and he turned my life around. Today at 62 I am 210lbs and benched 235 yesterday, run everyday, happily married to a great Christian woman. Keep singing.

Amy Grant had a very short pop career, as successful as she was. She literally detested the scene. The drugs around her, the hard partying, everything about it. So she went back to her Christian music and was very successful - more so than her very successful pop career. She is just a tremendous singer. I am glad they caught this in time. Live long.

Amy and Vince are incomparable, we just attended their Christmas show a few nights ago and it was simply amazing. Thank God he healed this angel from her terrible accident to allow her to bring so much joy to the masses, she is full of grace and love.

God Bless you Amy. I had open heart surgery February 23, 2005 for an aortic valve sufficiency. I was diagnosed with this when i joined the Air Force in 1975. I now have a great mechanical valve that has added many years to my life. Praise God. Mark

Hi Amy. Found this old post when you added me to your "Special Top Fans" list. It's been 2 years since my 2nd open heart surgery and I think I can say I'm 98% recovered. After 2 open heart surgeries I don't think I'll ever be exactly the same again but I can't complain. I've been very blessed and am lucky to still be among the living enjoying my family and grand children. On another note, with Christmas just around the corner I'd like to share a Christmas song I wrote if your interested in hearing it.
