Back in my day, Brickies worked from a lower Mortar Board than that. We (Plasterers) worked from a board that height. It did always strike me that Brickies were always stooping down for mortar. Probably what you got room for I suppose too. Your movement Charlie is economy in motion..........so fluid.

You can do it! Please do not fear anything you have only one life and your time in this world is ticking away. Please go try this or anything you desire. You can do it. Most people go to the grave not realizing that success was just a decision away. Have faith have fun surrounded by the people you want to be like. Then you can’t avoid being successful.

Love to see Amy out there on the trowel. Hard worker. I really love the dynamic, the both of you and want your relationship to grow. she is very supportive and I feel her heart is set on childcare as you brought up before but she will most definitely be very supportive and understanding having worked along side you. My favorite KZfaq couple 🤜 ❤️

Charlie, your vids are always a breath of fresh air and positive tonic for those of us ‘locked down’ at home. kudos to Jake who seems to be just getting on with it, does he fancy laying the odd block aswell ? Shout out to Kieran too. Gelling today. Thanks both 👍 .. oh, and joists on green, what a Rodney

I would say the murder life was murder for the poor hoddy as it used to be murder carrying the gear up 2 lifts...lol
@pussyclouts
@pussyclouts 3 жыл бұрын
Yep that's where the original saying came from, it was always the top lift as there were no fork lifts when I was on the trowel in my early days, so the hod carriers hated that lift as they had to hod everything up the ladders to the brickies

@@pussyclouts Done the murder lift... Dad told me of a labour who used to side down the ladder, he was loading out on the next house over when dad heard him screaming. A splinter was poking out off a wooden pole ladder and went in his leg like a wedge. They had to cut the bit off and sent him down the hospital. Dad sad I f####ng told him lol

Keep up the good work mate, when I put the wheep holes/vents in on a rendered building I leave the wheep hole sticking proud of the blockwork mate by whatever the render thickness is, best ask the renderer tho as all render is different thickness, a good renderer would render up to them keeping them dirt free or won't cut them off
