Evanescence have returned with new music and boy were we ready and waiting! Frontwoman Amy Lee spoke to Record Club host Jess Iszatt about the release of the new album 'The Bitter Truth', how her songwriting process has changed over the years and how the band simply love making albums.

I just got a new car and I love to drive it. I was just thinking today that I want to take a long trip and listen to a bunch of Evanescence along the way. It IS great road music! Every single album is epic! I love the build up of so many of the songs. Love everything about them ♡

Such a good interview! Very interesting questions and answers. Also, I think it's the first time since Ben left that Amy pronounced his name, she seem to be in a very good place now to not hold back anymore, it's so nice to see her like that. Thank you for the interview!

Not the first time. She said his name numerous times during The Open Door and The self titled eras. She get asked about him all the time.

Btw nightmare before Xmas between my two families was the nickname for my grampa faux seeing how my other grampa Hollis name resembled the holly trees or Xmas trees, as well as daddy long legs that resembles the pumpkin king. Very famous long ago in his time. Adolfo.
