For you guys can know, this is a Japanese film translated and changed a little into English. In Japan four year old kids do their own hair, get ready for school, go to the shopping store, and walk to school by THEMSELVES. So it's normal.

Japan is way different than i thought it was… but, now that I know 4 year olds go shopping by themselves, I will never think the same way again. Thank you, muffin from four years ago.

It took me about 10 years to realize how genius this movie is with its characters and morals. Amy is deaf which means the only people she can understand are those who usr sign language. She didn’t understand the ice cream boy and his mom but she understood their emotions and the bus money. The movie also taught us as kids that anything you do for others will be paid back through. It’s extremely sweet and absolutely one of my favorite LBP films from childhood.
