I think it's incredible when you listen to someone like Amy Winehouse and you think you've heard all of her songs before, but then a song comes on through shuffle that you haven't heard before and you get to listen to her voice for that first time again and it just knocks you off your feet with a soul warming wave of emotion. Amy's voice is something to behold and I will never tire of it. What an absolutely stunning cover of this song.

100%, she's an artist you don't want to listen to all her songs right away so you can "find" her songs years later in life especially because she's gone.

Not so 4me! The atmosphere changed when this Amazing Saxophonist intercepted, and created his sounds! I feel Amy abused her God given Gift! Therefore, I allow myself to greatly appreciate and hear, for the 1st time, I might add... the Artwork of this - Saxophonist, a very fine Musician. Thank you. 🎼 🎷 💙

@@robertatuck1533 I understand the way you feel, even if I don’t agree. I have suffered from similar problems to Amy but, luckily, I’m still here to tell the tale. Maybe this is the reason I hear something in her voice that is pleading for someone to help, anyone at all. The poor lass was so gifted, a true genius yet she was beset with undiagnosed with mental health problems that painted her in a bad light, so far from what she really was. Talent like Amy’s comes along once in a lifetime but even if she lost all her gifts to remain here, I believe she would have been ok with that.
@navrajvirk24103 жыл бұрын
@@davidrobinson2776 I don't think I agree with your last line. I believe the fact that she lost or was losing her talent, i.e., the vocal control and all the marvellous things she could do with her voice, was parly the reason why she ended up the way she did. Even in the last days she watched videos of herself singing on KZfaq and reminiscing about her amazing talent. I'm not saying she lost it completely but due to her excessive drinking over her divorce her voice got ruined in many ways. And the thing, music, that she once said really made her feel "at peace", made her feel insecure and incompetent. (Just my opinion).

recently i've been learning more about the intense darkness, real that is the music industry. and i'm starting to understand more and more about why so many stars(hollywood included) fall apart the way they do... drugs/alcohol, eating disorders, as well as just overall health failure just to name a few. if you are not following me at all, i really suggest you do a bit of research into what can only be called the evil reality of the entertainment buisness. my whole point in bringing all this up is you can see the effects more on amy than any other star , in my opinion. looking back at her first 2 years , before her international fame(mostly speaking of usa fame) she was sooo beautiful, healthy and seemed to enjoy all of it but soon after you see how much she changes and is desperetly attempting to cope with what her lefe has become. it is sooo sad because thru it all she is still so talented and literally puts her soul into her music. she played multiple intruments, wrote music, sang and i think she is really in a different leauge then anyone. and finally, she seems to be a good person, humble , funny , kind etc. sorry to rant but everytime i see her i feel sad and angry at what she became. truly some evil energy at work in the music buisness. rip amy. everytime i listen to her music i try to send some of my appriciation/love her way, wherever her soul is today!

Look at Paul Weller's reaction right at the end when Amy said "Mr Paul Weller!', he just puts his hands on his knees and looks at her as to say 'are you kidding me, you have just stole the show and are clearly of the best singers I've ever worked with and one of the best singers of all time...'
