I love this thing, yeah the price is off putting but it smells so good. Wasn't a fan of gentle fluidity, it smells kinda harsh.

Very much agree with you on this. It’s not a bad scent at all. It’s just ok. I remember sampling this years ago and was so enamored with the opening and then the mid/drydown happened. It’s part generic, part traditional “man cologne”.

Agree.. its actually really good but not worth the price. Definitely paying for the MFK brand.

I had a sample of the extrait de parfum and I enjoyed it but its way too expensive. It reminded me Allure homme sport eau extrême curiously.

Yes there’s a similarity in composition I think! I think it’s the sandalwood in Allure Homme Sport. Anyway that’s why I say, it’s not SO unique. Good fragrance by a master nonetheless.

Eau Extreme is my definition of a generic freshie. It just smells like all fresh fragrances combined into one fragrance.

Have you tried Ex Nihilo The Hedonist? I think you might like it, especially if you like akigalawood. It quickly became one of my favorites, one I’d grab if the house was on fire.

I confirm Ex Nihilo Hedonist is great ! I got a sample recently and it is really subtle and woody at the same time. It has that vibe of Dior Bois d'argent but with completely different notes. I will definitely buy a full bottle. It is My favorite Akigalawood fragrance with Bois Imperial by Essential Parfum

@@mohamednayad before I finished reading your post, Bois Imperial came to mind and I was going to mention it as another favorite. When I’m wanting a spicier, heavier akigalawood note when wearing The Hedonist, I’ll layer the two. Akigalawood game changer 😉. Ex Nihilo Blue Talisman is another akigalawood scent you should check out, in the event you like a little sweetness every once in awhile.
