Let me just say, homeschooling is incredible. As someone who transferred out of the public school system years ago, I can vouch that homeschooling is truly the best option. I've grown socially and academically, can pursue my interests and hobbies, have a flexible schedule, travel, and have a personalized curriculum. I attend a homeschool co-op once weekly where I take the majority of my classes (including drama), and then have homework+other courses for the rest of the week. I'll be taking college courses a year early to get ahead, and can pursue a wide range of extra-curricular activities. I have lots of AMAZING friends and its 100% drama free. Definitely a blessing.

@@pixieventures7992 Yes! I participate in the PSAT's/SAT's as well as any other tests that may make me more desirable to colleges. All you have to do is decide which test you're interested in, then contact your local private or public school and take the test on whatever day the school system has scheduled it for :)

I have homeschooled for 12 years and am now a college freshman. I have never done live lessons so I didn't have to wake up early at all, my mom actually taught me.

i’m the only kid & i’m am recently homeschooled. sure it has it perks such as not having a teacher yell at you or being yelled at for checking the time on your phone but at the same time being homeschool when you’re parents are working & you’re the only kid & have no friends can be lonely 😫✌️

Hailey Smith Me too! I’m going through the comments and seeing all these kids saying how lonely they are as homeschoolers, it’s super sad! I’ve been homeschooled my entire life, but my parents made an effort to allow me to have a social life. Homeschooling doesn’t necessarily mean you are weird.

I'd say most of the kids that are complaining are doing a school at home type thing - which technically isn't homeschooling, it's attending school via distance = huge workload you have no control over, lots of deadlines and not much time left for fun.

i homeschool after being in usual school for 8 years and i love it so much you get more work done because you have 0 distraction you can choose do to extra if you want to and you have more time to do the things you love and it is fantastic!

I was forced to do homeschool and let me tell you that it’s hell. @@S133pyy exactly! high school is about having fun , and making memories that you’ll look back on your whole life ... it’s one of the best and most fun periods of your life and I just feel like these people saying how depressed they are at school and are switching to homeschool are gonna be more depressed later in life when they realized what they missed out on ... like I really can’t stress this enough , and honestly if I could go back to the beginning of my sophomore year I would literally tell myself all of this before making the decision to homeschool ....

Just express to her your feelings about school. What is making you feel that way. Sometimes we don't think our parents will understand.. don't expect her to say yes right away. Ask her to ask about it on a local facebook homeschool group for your area. So she can do her research by talking to other homechool moms. There are also homeschool co ops you may be able to join and participate in classes such as Theater, Cooking, Science, History, Spanish, Steam and much more. Art classes for homeschoolers in the comunity and so on. Join a dance class you can even compete. These are very fun and you make friends there as well. Just find everything out first and presented to her and be patient. Show, you can be responsible and don't give up. & avoid arguments about the subject. Just be frank and respectful. Always respectful!

ive always loved meeting ppl at school and making friends but i just started hs and im forced to do homeschool and it kinda sucks knowing ill never have those highschool memories and have a real graduation yk :/// now im just gonna be at home in my room all the time

Euphoria Actually it isn’t boring if your parents care enough to help you do it right. My life as a homeschooler is super exciting. Just talk to your parents, bring up the research on homeschooling that can show them all the benefits. Maybe that will help?

I have social anxiety, and it went really bad during the school year, so my parents are thinking about homeschooling me. I’m in my second to last year of high school in France and I’m scared. Like SCARED. If I homeschool now, I won’t go back to a physical school unless I go to college or uni.

imagine being able to have a life this easy. like this is a lifestyle i dream of. instead, i’m up at 6:30. out the house at 7:20, get to school, deal with idiots😂, stay there for 6 hours, take the bus home, which takes really long, and then get home, to HAVE TO GET DRESSED FOR WORK! Anyways anyone that is homeschooled i’m not saying it’s simple, but it’s a lot easier then going to school.

I’m homeschooled and do this hard hybrid program (go to school once a week) where I have to do 6-7hrs a hw a day 💀I’m bad at actually doing my hw during the day. Plus since Ive haven’t had activities for a year, I’m bored. Anyways despite that,homeschool has been good for me.
