Күн бұрынStaines-upon-Thames is a market town in northwest Surrey, England, around 17 mi west of central London. It is in the Borough of Spelthorne, at the confluence of the River Thames and Colne. Historically part of Middlesex, the town was transferred to Surrey in 1965.

The big building (Future Electronics) in the middle of the big oval road (A30) used to be just a huge car park,which 3 of us used to race our R/C cars around in the 80/90's ,was great for testing. Then it was the RAC building,happy memories. Thank you.

@@rollybentulan it's Egham! Also, parts of Egham like the causeway have a different postal address. Historically, Egham starts on the southern side of Staines bridge (Hythe). All these places are in Runnymede, not Spelthorne
