I noticed in the fell for you video how LJ was looking at Ron so I thought the same thing jealousy

I doubt it L.J. Reynolds was jealous of Ron Banks singing. L.J. Reynolds is a better singer than Ron LOL. Willie Ford and L.J. did have beef before Willie died. Willie started a Dramatics group without L.J. before Willie died. I wish Lenny Mayes was in this interview.

LJ wanted to be the lead singer. He had beef with Wee Gee. He wanted was jealous man if he was so good without the dramatics why did he come back

RON BANKS and WILLIE FORD WERE ORIGINAL MEMBERS. LJ was NOT. Why is LJ Dominating the interview ? He’s not even an ORIGINAL MEMBER. He wouldn’t even let Willie get a WORD in !! He wasn’t even THERE at the beginning. He was a REPLACEMENT MEMBER!! He is acting as if The DRAMATICS were HIS GROUP. Everyone KNOWS that RON BANKS was the LEADER and SPOKEMAN for the group. LJ was always JEALOUS of HIM. Now that RON is DEAD, LJ wants to stage a TAKEOVER. He wasn’t even THERE at the BEGINNING!!

williamg2552 I believe he was a lead singer in another group before he joined the Dramatics. Probably a local group somewhere. He saw the Dramatics performed and Wee Gee wasn’t there. They say he met with the guys sometime after their performance and sang all parts of some of their old records and they were so impressed they soon hired him for replacement for Wee Gee. Yes, he does talk a lot about himself in interviews(all though comical) but being short he probably spent quite a lot of time in his early years trying to convince people of his talents in a world of tall R&B groups and singers. In that time with so many groups and lead singers, I guess some arrogance was needed. He can’t help it, been at it too long, maybe.

LJ KNOWS that he'll NEVER replace either RON or WEE GEE in the minds of the public. He knows that none of the tunes he led on will ever reach the sales or status of the tunes WEE GEE led on: "IN THE RAIN" and "WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET", which were both Top 10 Million-Selling records. He also knows that, if RON were still alive, he would have kept the reins on him!! LJ is a great singer...but sadly, he's got an EGO to MATCH !!
