Settlement Survival has FINALLY received a major update: Calamities and Disasters! As you can guess from the name, a host of new natural disasters have been added to the game, turning your once-peaceful city into pile of rubble and broken dreams. Add in the "Combat Mode" for the game (which was added previously) and Settlement Survival has actually become quite challenging!

If interested, alpacas and llamas are different species but closely related. Alpacas are smaller and there fleece is finer/softer than llamas. Llamas are better pack animals.

I don't know if they changed it but you don't need to have the entire field covering the fertile ground to get the bonus. When I played it (granted it was at least a year ago), overlapping even one square will grant your field the bonus. Also, you would want tech points on logistics. Baskets, movement speed, extra weight... the less they need to move back and forth the more they can work. That way you really could get by with less specific workers. Also education branch somewhere you get to shorten the time kids graduate.

For those unfamiliar. "Calamity and Woe" is an expression popularized by the character A.F.C Blinky, who had it as a catch-phrase. He is a robot from the 1980's show Buck O'Hare.

Yes this game is like Banished and people in school don't count as workforce, also I think you did have seeds by the fishing nodes

Did it say the windspeed was 32 m/s at 8:15? I mean I know hard mode gotta go hard, but a casual category 1 hurricane a month after landing seems a bit much. They seem to build some dang strong canvas and stick roofs in Pravus World. Having watched through the video I don't think I saw speeds 18-20 m/s. I feel like all the trees should be at a 45 degree angle given the constant 70 kph wind speeds all year round

Aren't you able to domestic alpacas? Is that a research tech? Why are you only able to hunt them?

You can. For all of the animals in this game you either have to get lucky and have one of your hunters catch a cub when they are hunting, or purchase cubs from the Merchant Ship or through trading. He got unlucky and didn't catch an alpaca from that first herd.
