What I would change? 1. Make Marinette's crush less intense. Like yours, she slowly falls for Adrien. But she's still a kid. Kids get weird around crushes. 2. Change her powers. I felt like her powers are way too deus ex machina. I like the idea of her power being creating what she wants too, though I would still keep them limited for the first two seasons. 3. 86 Lila. 4. Adrien does like Ladybug, but he doesn't hide it in class and it really bugs Marinette. Thus, it makes her feel even more nervous around him. 5. Luka gets a more concrete personality and we actually introduce him in the first season. We see his feelings build over smaller interactions with Marinette and we would also see her actually get to know him too. 6. Kagami is mostly the same, but she gets a way better introduction. Instead of that overly intense duel, she is just very quiet and hard to approach because she's painfully awkward and she feels like her French is very poor. Opening up to Adrien and someone being gentle with her instead of forceful lets us see her sweeter side a lot sooner. 7. Mayura is an Anti-hero pretending to want to help Hawkmoth. Her methods, like snuffing the life out of her creations, are very questionable. But she just wants him to focus on his son and stop neglecting Adrien. 8. Emilie is in a coma, but she's in a normal hospital like a normal person. 9. Episode order. A real order. 10. Chloe is Marinette's frenemy. Marinette is friends with Sabrina (and later Adrien), so of course she has to be cordial with Chloe. Chloe is mean spirited, but not the downright awful girl we got in seasons 1 and 3. Chloe genuinely likes Sabrina, who I feel was also a friend of Adrien. 11. Alya stays Rena Rouge. Fu gave her the Fox without telling Ladybug. So, when Ladybug tries to give Alya the Bee, Alya decides to give it to someone else. However, Alya gets attacked by Style Queen, who then gives the Bee to Chloe, thinking her daughter would aide her with a miraculous. That is when Chloe openly defies her mother for the first time. 12. Adrien attemots to date Kagami, only to realize he still loves Ladybug and it isn't fair to Kagami for him to date her while liking someone else. A moment of maturity for him. 13. Adrien begins noticing the Ladybug qualities in Marinette. Each season, we see them grow ever closer. Season 3 ends with him admitting to Kagami he loves Ladybug, except he slips and says Marinette instead. And Kagami, with her poor French, makes it sound like Marinette just likes Luka. But that's just me wanting to keep the drama.

The main thing I would change about the show is that Alya, Nino and Chloe get their miraculous's from Master Fu not Labybug and Cat Noir, I would change other things but that would be the main one. :D

my only question with this rewriting is what master fu is doing after just handing these powerful pieces of jewelry to a couple of kids he was just a passerby to?

You know I wondered why marinette and Adrien wouldn't agree to using the miraculous to bring Gabriel's wife back. I though it was stupid why he wouldn't just go to his son and admit he wants to save his wife and then he'll give up the miraculous but then I remembered how those reality altering powers work. It's like the law of equivalent exchange from fullmetal alchemist. You wish to become wealthy, someone else will suddenly get poor, you wish to be healthy a random person in the world will get sick. If Gabriel wishes for his wife to come back to life a random person in the world will die. It can be some guy we've never met countries away from Paris. It can be someone close to Marinette and Adrien or even one of them. It's a hidden tint of genius writing I haven't seen anyone talk about.

tbh if i made a "kids show" and i got a large following and got complaints i would try to make it better even I am a kid and i am tired of this repetitive scenes

So, i rewatched the video and I noted that there is a lack of secondary antagonists. And i have some ideas that could work in this version of Miraculous. 1) Lila Rossi. She could work with some tweaks here and there. First of all the name. Rossi is the italian equivalent of Smith and means Red/the Red. Lila is the least italian name in the show by a long shot. She is now called something like Camilla Lamberti. Camilla is an ancient italian mame from the latin adjective "camillus" and can be shortened whit Lilla, Lila or Cami. Lamberti is the last name of one of the damned in Dante's Inferno, specifically Mosca dei Lamberi in the eight cicle in the Bolgia for those who spread conflict. She craves for the attention to the masses (she is some kind of a narcissist) and is the theater kid of the school. She feels "threatened" by the presence of Adrien in the school and her master plan is to make him join the dark side or bring him down. She is no longer a blatant liar, but bends the truth in a subtle way to still have a margin of plausible deniability. 2) Some kind of J. Jonah J. character could work. He/She could blame the scourge of supervillam to the mere presence of LB and CN and have some sort of control over a mass communication media. This character could be Chloe's father, who is trying to get re-elected and wants ti end the akuma problem before the next elections and take the merit. He figured out that there is some sort of link between the villains that appear in Paris and the superheroes and he is convinced that eliminating the latter would fix the first problem. This could also add drama and conflict if Chloe's still recives a miraculous.

Concept: In season 2, instead of Marinette being focused on civilians/monsters and Adrien being focused on Hawk Moth, you should switch it. I kinda feel like the concept of the dude who has a darker power choosing to go for the bigger villain and big picture vs. dude with light power deciding that the people are more important is kinda predictable, but if you flip 'em it could provide and interesting dynamic where Chat noir, a kid with the power that only destroys, having to figure out how to use that to help people and be more resourceful and clever. So like picture this: Chat Noir, after the fallout, patrolling alone through the city, basically feeling hurt that someone he trusted would 'betray him' like that. He ends up contemplating and monologuing on how he's useless to Paris with his power and how Ladybug was the one who really helped people. After all, what good is he for other than being a weapon, per say. He has no right to believe he can help people alone with his miraculous. He'd have this whole character arc where he realizes that his power is meant for more than destruction and he has to think before acting, which he never really did when Ladybug was there because he always expected that she'd have a plan. Of course, he'd still feel like somethings missing because they are two parts of a whole, but it would be cool to see him basically 'overcome' the definition he had of his power. Then turn season 3 or the finale of 2, you see the duo work together and see how their strategy improved based of the character arcs.

What I would change about the show is that every episode means something. if a character learns something from an season or important episode they won’t forget in the next couple episodes or season like how Marinette was learning to confront Adrien and then there would be episodes she was speaking normally and then episodes when she could barely talk.This applies to my first point but releasing the episodes in order because it gets soooo confusing when episodes are scattered. I don’t like how Ladybug gives and takes miraculouses from people like it would be so much cooler if they got to keep it and Master fu gave it to them because it seems like Marinette is being bias anyways when she chooses people! She always picks her classmates and it was cool when she picked Alya, Nino, and Chloe but now it’s just plain annoying that basically the whole class gets a miraculous. The last thing I would change is Marinette’s creepiness...how tf Marinette go from having a cute lil crush in season 1 and then become a full on psychopath in season 3?

I really like your ideas for the show. I would have kept the kwamis and love square, but your general premise is really good. Focusing on characters other than Marinette is something I wish the writers would do more often. I hope the love square goes kinda how you said but different characters. I want season 4 to have Marinette falling for Chat Noir, but feeling unfaithful to Adrien and vise versa for Adrien liking Marinette & Ladybug. I also wished the show put a bigger priority in the story and lore rather than the monster of the week format. You definitely had the story as the priority. Miraculous is that show that I really love, but also get extremely frustrated with. I’m invested in the characters and story, but I just hate how the show is playing out. I think 3 seasons would be too few for me, I’d prefer 4 or 5 but no more than that.

A lot of cool ideas. I just gotta say that the kwamis act as someone for the heroes to talk to for guidance cause they don't get to talk to Master Fu about everything. Having someone to talk to about your secret is important so that the heroes aren't talking to themselves all the time.

I never really saw Marinette's power as 'giving her the answer' because she still had to observe her environment and think it out for herself albeit the way the show is animated with the black and white perspective with the Ladybug highlighting does make it seem like thats how it works I recall in the Lady Noir/Dudebug (i forget the names they actually used but i mean the one where they had to swap miraculous) episode she directly states the object given is only a hint to the solution and you still need to figure the situation out yourself... unless that was another retcon like the "Ladybug and Cat Noir can't know eachother's secret identities" horsepucky

I like this but I also feel like this is so far from what miraculous is. Kamis and the love squares just feel too much like core pieces to the show that removing them just feels like a completely new show. The idea is really good though. I especially like the way you handled the reveal and characterization.

I really wish the writers would have kept the og miraculous' instead of adding the Chinese zodiac ones idk to me they always seemed like they were there to stretch out the series like- what makes the og ones special when another miraculous can reverse time ☠️

I really like the general idea you wrote :o I think it makes the characters feel more...alive, I guess? More believable? Honestly, I feel like every rewrite does a better job of making me care about these characters than the show itself lol. I also like the new characterization you gave Adrien. I agree that he feels just too perfect on the show. This new him reminds a bit of the og Felix in the sense that he's a bit more reserved, if that makes sense. As for what i would like to see on the show, I personally would've liked for the five main to form a solid, permanent miraculous-user team and for chloe to go through a redemption arc that ends with her in a better place (unlike...whatever the show did) Anywho, nice video! :D

there are pros and cons to your alternative story that I absolutely love. I'm going to assume that if you didn't MENTION that something changed, it's the same in the story. Pros: -Your whole characterization of Adrien is 😙👌 Perfecto! you gave him so much more depth and REASONS FOR HIM TO LIKE CHLOE -CHLOE REDEMPTION CHLOE REDEMPTION CHLOE REDEMPTION -Alya becoming freakily obsessed with Hawkmoth, Ladybug and Chat Noir and being the one to find out identities -Luka x Chloe is based -establishing a true ensemble cast of five will make it much easier for writers and for relationships to grow. -Ill say this again, Chloe Cons: -Would appreciate a more in depth look at Lila and Felix, and how they play into this new universe. Or just other people who would probably have it out for Ladybug/Chat Noir -The love square isn't gone if Marinette/Adrien start having feelings for Ladybug/Chat Noir, which in your story, they do. That attraction is in and out of uniform. -Marinettes power Lucky Charm works for her because it's unique and shows how smart Marinette truly is. You try getting a seemily random item and figuring out how to give a final blow/solve a mystery with a traffic cone. Her ladybug powers don't give her the knowledge to use the charm, she does it on her own, and the items are highlighted in ladybug powers to show Marinettes line of thought. I think it's cool. However, to each their own, and if you think lucky charm is dumb and that Marinette should be able to create her own stuff since Adriens power is being able to destroy whatever he chooses, then you're valid. Things that could have also been mentioned: -marinettes doesn't look Asian. give her hazel/brown eyes. why the fuck does she have blue eyes -The stress Adrien and Marinette feel having to lie to everyone could be amped up in the show a LOT more than it is at the moment. Mr. and Mrs. Dupain-Cheng would HAVE to notice something is up by season 2. -We don't get the full idea in the show about what happens if they fail up until Chat Blanc. But even then, that's a hypothetical for if ADRIEN is akumatized if he is dating Marinette at a specific point in time and is cat noir when it happens. What I really want to know is what happens if a regular citizen can't be de-evilized? are they incapacitated and sent to jail? what if ladybug uses lucky charm but can't figure out how to use it, so she can't use her most important ability on another villain until she figures out how to use the next one. Does the akumatized person stay that way until they get the miraculous? what kind of jail does Paris have set up for supervillains? in a world of superheroes there's gotta be plans set in place for this. -What about the other miraculous? How does Marinette handle choosing the holders when she has the miracle box? or is the idea of other miraculous out the window/number of miraculous heavily reduced?

One of the biggest things I would change is locations seen. They always show the Lourve and Eiffel Tower. I would make Paris actually feel like a character. After season 1, I would cut the monster of the week format in favor of an overarching plot. The monster of the week of season 1 builds the overarching plot as well with a full timeline. I also kinda hate the whole "eternal slumber" bullshit. She's dead say she's dead kid friendliness is gross and annoying. I would also touch up on how Isolated and alone Adrien feels due to how he isn't even allowed to go to public school. Maybe even bring up Adrien's mental health.

Not exactly my first pick in a replacement for the current canon of the show. But one thing I would appreciate in this version over what we currently have is the fact that there is a steady sense of progression. It wouldn't feel like each episode is just a self contained story that ultimately doesn't amount to anything.

I've been into Miraculous Ladybug since the 2D trailer came out so it's a show I've been looking forward to for years and my overall experience with it has been...I guess I would say underwhelming/disappointing because of the inconsistency and mess of it all (story, scheduling,characters,etc). However, I stay in the fandom because I like hearing other people's version of Miraculous Ladybug through comics, fanart, animatics, etc. There's a lot of creative AUs and "What if" stories that I really like. Sure, maybe they won't fit in a television story structure, but I find them more enjoyable than what the show has been presenting. I really want the show to be good but I'm just gonna stick with fan stories instead.

I haven't actually seen more than a couple episodes of Miraculous but I love this. It's cohesive, it's dramatic, it delivers. Now go write the fanfic.

I'd love to see Sabrina in this version with an unrequited crush on Chloe. Chloe having a friend who loves her in a way she can't reciprocate could be a good way for her to accept that Adrien has feelings for someone else, because she's able to see it from both sides.

So... I reworked Miracle Queen. I loved the idea of Chloe turning, but it came at the cost of her development being axed. So how about this: (this is for my own rewrite btw) Bit of context. The three other heroes were given their powers by Fu, and Chloe has gone through her arc. She didn’t reveal her identity, but the other heroes figured it out. She also knows that Chat Noir is Adrien and Ladybug is Marinette. Basically, as seen in Loveater, Hawk Moth akumatised Chloe’s parents. She helped defeat them, but she got separated from the others. Hawk Moth appears, and tries to convince her to join him. She refuses, so Hawk Moth resorts to his backup plan. He fights Queen Bee, and wins. He drags her to the top of the Eiffel Tower, so that everyone in Paris can witness one of their heroes fall. The other heroes arrive, just like he knew they would. He akumatises her spinning top, but she tries to fight back despite her weakened state. Surprised by the resistance, Hawk Moth decides there’s only one way to make her submit. He starts telling her that she’s a joke: a child has no place as a superhero. Ladybug and Chat look at each other: they know what he’s doing. (Chloe suffered from horrible self esteem. She would often verbally beat herself up when alone before she developed. He’s trying to activate a trigger to make her fall back into that despair, allowing the akuma to take her over.) The others try to help, but he fights them off. He calls Bee worthless. A waste of time. Fake. Useless. Pathetic. He tells her that the others don’t trust her, that she’s a threat to everyone around her. She’s a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. That the others are waiting for the chance to get rid of her. Despite her best efforts, Bee’s walls cave in. Before she becomes akumatised, she yells for the other heroes to run. Run before she hurts them. Rena and Carapace grab LB and CN, as they try to break free and get to their friend. “Guys, I’m sorry,” Rena says, looking at her friend with a regretful look. “But there’s nothing we can do for her now. It’s better we get away now and plan a way to get Bee back than die winging it.”

I really like your version of Miraculous some things I would change would be the Kwammi's and the team also becoming heroes yeah the kwammi's do seem only important unless plot but you could change that. have the little guys interact with their new partners. and it would be cool if the whole team also had their miraculous, mostly because it would be cool to see how deep Alya would go down her obsessive path

A’ight, I’ve done a few rewrites of the main characters. Marinette: She suffers from social anxiety. She’s still a good person and enjoys design work, but unlike in canon she’s very withdrawn and doesn’t have many friends. Alya, out of the goodness of her heart, befriends Marinette and helps her become more confident. Over time she works to overcome her anxiety and works her way up from the bottom. She isn’t incredibly unpopular, she just doesn’t have many friends due to distancing herself from large crowds in fear of a panic attack. Adrien: Uber talented as seen in the show, but a few tweaks. He is sceptical of his father’s feelings towards him, due to their relationship’s decline since his mother’s death. He has insecurities about his personality, since everyone just likes him for his looks. That’s why he’s genuinely surprised whenever Marinette befriends him after he messes up socially. Oh yeah, he’s really socially awkward. He can be a little defensive at times, and occasionally tends to be a little overly serious. He isn’t well versed when it comes to social cues, but his friendships with Marinette and Nino help him improve that. I already covered Chloe in my other comment. Alya: OBSESSED with superheroes. Even though she means well, she has a habit of throwing herself into danger and can be a bit hotheaded when provoked. She firmly believes in the truth and although sometimes she can be a bit brash she’s overall very loyal and friendly. Her development involves her learning that sometimes there are some lengths you shouldn’t go to when it comes to uncovering the truth, and that her actions can carry consequences for the people she cares about. Nino: At the start, he doesn’t really care for anyone else. He thinks getting caught up in everyone else’s business would be detrimental to him in the end, so he for the most part keeps himself to himself. It’s his own choice. However, after he befriends Adrien and later Marinette and Alya he learns to accept other people and come out of his shell. Of course being Carapace helps that development along too. He’s very laid back and relaxed, and acts as emotional support for Adrien. Luka: This is one of the characters I changed the most. Rather than halfway through S2, Luka in this version is introduced a little bit into S1. Music is still a core aspect of his character, but he uses it as a way of expressing his feelings. Whenever he and Juleka were younger, their dad divorced Anarka and left them behind. Unable to cope, Anarka became very absent in her children’s lives. Not wanting his little sister to suffer as a result of his parent’s’ actions, Luka took it upon himself to raise her. Due to the stress of juggling raising Juleka and doing his schoolwork, it became difficult for Luka to vocalise his emotions. So he turned to music as a means of coping. He’s a little defensive of Juleka, but overall is still a kind person. Kagami: Admittedly I’m still working on her arc, so I’ll update this once I know what I want to do with her. Similar to Luka, she’s introduced a bit into S1. At first she comes across as brash and cold, as due to her mother’s hold over her she has problems making friends. However, once she befriends Adrien and later Marinette she’s shown to be a kind and loyal person. If not a bit blunt when it comes to expressing her opinions. Lila: Debunks Chloe as the secondary antagonist after her introduction at the end of S1. Her lies are more believable, but she uses them as a secondary means of twisting people. Her main weapon is manipulation: she acts all nice and friendly in order to gain everyone’s trust. She even befriends Marinette to get closer to Adrien so that she can take him for herself. The first person to catch on to her mind games is Chloe: but Lila blackmails her and scares her into staying quiet. Eventually she’s exposed by Marinette and Alya, who find out her real motives. Her arc’s very interesting: whereas the other characters get better, Lila gets worse. After she’s been exposed, Lila starts sliding down a slippery slope towards desperation. Her main motive is fame: once it becomes apparent to her that playing nice won’t help her achieve her goals, Lila turns to evil in a mad attempt to achieve notoriety. She joins Hawk Moth, using her manipulative behaviour to try and twist the other protagonists and find out their identities. He trusts her with the Peacock Miraculous, believing she’ll serve him well. She basically becomes his apprentice. Gabriel: Pretty much the same, but is shown to still care for Adrien deep down. Whenever Cat Blanc happens, he doesn’t manipulate Adrien into helping him. He tells him the truth, and is visibly regretful of his choice of akumatising his son. He apologises to him before he akumatises him, saying that it’s the only way he can save what’s left of their family. Nathalie: Acts as a mother figure for Adrien, and doesn’t act robotic. She disapproves of Gabriel’s neglect of Adrien, and secretly agrees with Adrien’s statement that he should be free to be with other kids his age and free to do what he wants to do. She doesn’t know Gabriel is Hawk Moth, but once she finds out she tries to convince him to quit. That by chasing the chance to revive Emilie he’s risking losing the only family he has left.

Okay but the quick scene when the two learn their identities. Their eyes met as the masks fell. Marinette and Adrien stared at each other for what felt like days. Then slowly, Adrien started to laugh. Marinette followed and the two ran to each other and kissed deeply. Finally, there was nothing left to hide.

This is kinda funny since me and my friend have been re-writing the series in short story developed into comics

Warning! Wall-o-text: I like your premise, and although you may find this to be strange for me to bring up, but your idea for Adrien having all that angst is actually the way Felix was going to be in the original anime style of the story. Yes, you added that he's a model while Felix was going to be just a bookworm, but I thought it would work a little better. Part of me wanted Chloe to be more of a sister styled character who isn't interested in Adrien romantically, but feels protective of him because she knows there are girls in their class that only see him for his looks and his money so she's kind of a shield between him and gold-diggers who don't really care about him. That could make her abrasive toward the girls until she figures out they're genuine with their feelings (I think that was an initial concept for her because there were times Chloe, in the show, would say Marinette wasn't "genuine" as if that was a statement of protectiveness) and instead wants him to find "true friends" and love with someone who cares about him not his looks or money. I could see Nino and Alya becoming close, and him actually helping to calm her down, becoming stronger than he is in the show. I believe Dumbledore said it best in the first Harry Potter movie/book. "It's brave to stand up to your enemies but braver still to stand up to your friends." How much harder is it to stand up to someone you love? I could see him finally managing to gather his courage in season 3 to tell Alya that she's gone overboard, and he manages to reel her in a bit. As for a potential love interest for Chloe, I could see her meeting up with Felix (his arrival to the story isn't nearly as angst ridden, he doesn't insult anyone, and he definitely doesn't look like Adrien but instead is a year older, has sharper features, and comes to visit with his mother as emotional support for Gabriel and Adrien while his father works as an archaeology professor at the University in London) and tells him how she truly feels about him. Gabriel I could see as cold and detached from daily life, but instead he tries to make time for his son. As such, they eat lunch and dinner together, although he skips breakfast, and is the one that tells his son what his schedule is, while accepting input from Adrien... although his son is too intimidated to ask for more than just a few cursory hours with his friends. His father seems to genuinely like a couple of people (Nino rubs him the wrong way by his casual way of speaking, and Alya seems a little too eager to delve into everyone else's lives, but he likes the quiet shyness of Marinette, and Chloe has always been like a daughter to him) but the others start to grow on him. Nathalie is there, but not nearly in the show as much to the point where she just obtains his orders, and leaves to the main office, keeping everything very professional. Gorilla is there, but seems intent on helping Adrien to spend more time with his friends. I could see the rest of the class being there, but without the focus on all of them, they just become a plot device for the Akumatization of the week.

Bro, could this actually become a series or a fanfic or anything? Your thoughts and attention to character detail are just amazing and I’d love to see these ideas brought to life, more then just this video. This show is a much better written story than the canon story that is going on right now. This could have been something that was written if Miraculous was still aired as an edgy anime.

Just a thing: I really liked the idea of the 5 heroes being in the hero fan/investigation club, it sounds difficult to work with, but that's exactly what makes it good.

Hmmm... 1) At the very least, a canon list of what order the episodes go in if all else fails. But please, please, try to release them in that order and on a mostly consistent timeline. 2) Equally follow both Marinette and Adrien. Master Fu remains in the show as the constant sensei figure. Fu speaks equally to Chat Noir and Ladybug, and both go to him when they need help, sometimes consulting him in their hero forms together. Chat Noir has equal access to information as Ladybug and chooses Nino as the Turtle bearer. Also, MARINETTE IS NOT MADE GUARDIAN. Master Fu retains that role throughout the show. 3) Alter the “Miraculous Ladybug” reset so that it requires both Chat Noir and Ladybug to function. Logic: the Earrings of Creation are fundamentally incapable of understanding what destruction is or what “broken” means. If used alone, they function more like a cancerous tumor, randomly building things that make no sense without fixing anything - after all, it doesn’t know what it means for something to be broken. The Ring of Destruction does, however, and though it cannot repair anything, it acts as a compass and tells the Earrings of Creation what to repair and where. If either Chat Noir or Ladybug are removed from the equation, you have a MASSIVE problem. May end up validating side characters (though I would keep it to just the five of them, no more) in case Ladybug or Chat Noir need help freeing the other from the abilities of the villain. Also mechanically forces both Ladybug and Chat Noir to be equals, changing their dynamic with how they treat each other. 4) I like your idea of starting at the beginning and having them earn their Miraculouses through behaving like heroes during Stoneheart even without their powers. They actually earned it and weren’t just run-of-the-mill decent people. 5) I’d take Adrien in a different direction. Definitely have him be a bit reserved from his constant bombardment as a model, but this also results in him downplaying himself and generally trying to avoid notice or attention. He just wants to be a normal kid, but he struggles with his image constantly hounding him. Is also constantly trying to change himself to make his friends happy and completely neglects his own needs, habit patterns he picked up from trying to please his father. He serves others to his own detriment and deflects constantly whenever he friends want to help HIM, not wanting to feel like he has failed or is a burden. This bottling can lead to sudden frustrated outbursts and a pendulum swinging. This would set up an arc where he learns to pay attention to and care for HIMSELF as well, something he is forced to do, but struggles with as Chat Noir, which could fuel genuine tension as well as heartfelt bonding between him and Ladybug as she tries to get it through his thick skull that he CANNOT use himself as a human meat shield to protect her. He is just as important as she is, and his arc will be learning to understand that. 6) I guess Marinette can still be crushing kind of hard on Adrien (I have no experience in this field, so I don’t know what is realistic and what isn’t), as her awkwardness around him could help fuel why they don’t recognize each other and why nobody connects the dots at first, but FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS GOOD, do not have her be a one-dimensional creep around him, and PLEASE, have her slowly get over her inability to complete sentences around him the more she learns confidence in herself as Ladybug. 7) I like the idea of Marinette creating her own plans and then actively creating the object she needs to make it all come together instead of her power giving her a random object she has to scramble to figure out how to use. Much more agency and showcases her intelligence and creativity, which could also help her learn confidence and standing up for herself. I do still want to keep them only using their abilities once, though - it is an interesting limit that forces them to be careful and play their cards smart ;) 8) Either have the kwamis play a more active role as support characters to their charges and aids in finding or deciphering clues or do away with them. I’d rather keep them around, because they are super fun characters, but you’re right, at the moment, they serve no purpose to the plot. 9) Oh yeah, speaking of purpose to the plot, have the events in episodes actually impact character growth and plot. I want to see progression. 10) Keep the love square. Adrien crushing on Ladybug quickly kind of makes sense - a powerful, intelligent, kind, and most of all /free/ heroine definitely seems like the kind of person that the affections of a chained down teenager who doesn’t thinK highly of himself would attach to immediately. She’s everything he feels he wishes he could be. The dual unrequited love ends up shifting affections to the reverse end of the square, though; Marinette, frustrated with Adrien’s self-deprecating denseness and social awkwardness, eventually turns to Chat Noir, who’s been openly interested for a while now. At the same time, however, Chat Noir, giving up on his pursuit of Ladybug and acquiescing to her wishes, turns his attention to Marinette, who Nino has now, out of frustration, point-blank told Adrien is interested in him. More exploration of the square and continues the tension in a believable track without feeling drawn out or contrived or involving unnecessary side characters. In this area, though, both quickly notice affections have shifted and try to express themselves awkwardly and subtly before just keeping it in after a while, realizing they missed their chance. With attentions shifted, however, each behaves more like their natural selves around the other-Marinette isn’t a mess and Chat Noir tones down a bit. Have fun exploring all sides of the square here, each pairing helping the characters grow and build fluidly amidst identity hijinks to the fourth degree. I think this could have so much potential for a lot of angst, frustration, growth, and fluffy affection that would be a blast to watch (AS LONG AS EPISODES HAVE LASTING IMPACT BEYOND THEIR 22 MINUTES). 11) Chloé’s fine. She’s a brat, but I enjoy it, Marinette’s evolving relationship with her as she learns to stand up to her long-time bully the longer she is Ladybug, and Chloé’s redemption arc. Just... make sure she keeps that redemption. Please. 12) Lila... can continue to exist as a raging agent of chaos who consistently pushes the characters in their civilian forms as Hawkmoth does in their superhero forms. Perhaps hint that she is going to be the next Hawkmoth, more interested in just feeling powerful and hurting the heros than getting the Miraculouses. Also, tone her down a bit so she doesn’t break suspension of disbelief. Alternately, remove her entire character. 13) Both sides play smarter, actively trying to end the conflict instead of just treating the akuma thing as a routine, if slightly annoying, ritual. This means LB and CN don’t try to shut down the Ladyblog or Alya because both can help them uncover Hawkmoth’s identity and Alya’s journalism nature can help them track down clues, but also adds tension between characters as Alya consistently gets herself in pointless danger and is also endangering her heroes by trying to uncover /their/ identities as well. And I’m sure I can think of others, but... yeah. Some ideas. Especially number three.

I've actually been trying to rewrite my own ideal version (as I have with tons of media lately to get better at writing) and I really like your take! I like the idea though of Hawkmoth isn't the end and Master Fu is actually a lot more sinister than you would think from first impression. Like in the beginning, He would be some guy who the miraculous say "Oh yes fate chose you" but its one of those burden things where he just picked two random people to fill some ideal of balance and that HE was the one who gave Gabriel the miraculous. So then we can add just a bit more drama to Marinette and Adrien as they realize they're just puppets in a game much larger than they thought. Just a small dance to the over all ensemble. Not sure what that would be yet but it would sound cool to figure out this wasn't just about defeating some guy in his attic.

I’d also like to see how they prepare their future and pursue their dreams while still having to balance their super hero lives.

Wow, I would have loved to have Adrien be distrustful of others in the beginning of the show. I always thought that it was weird in the show that Adrien and Chloe were childhood friends, but don't act like it at all. Chloe clings to Adrien, but that could just be because he's famous/she met him once/insert reason here. Adrien doesn't show anything other than 'more tolerance' towards her. It's barely a friendship, let stand a very close ' we grew up together' friendship. I think that Adrien's distrust of others would be very interesting as Chat Noir, being forced to work with a partner, who is a complete stranger to him. I can see him learning how to trust others through their missions and opening up to future friendships, like with Nino. Honestly, this is a better reason for him to fall in love with Ladybug than the canon one. And imagine the betrayal that his father is Hawkmoth! For Adrien, who's world was once so small that he couldn't let anyone in, learning that the person he had trusted all his life was the one that would betray it. I could see him have a meltdown, reverting back to pushing people away, until he's pulled out of it by his friends. The people he had opened up to and have his back. That would be such an amazing character arc.

i like the idea of only a few seasons. honestly, miraculous just feels like a money grab at this point, dragging out the story with repetitive episodes that get nowhere with both the superhero stuff and the relationships. it’s best to have stories short but sweet, in my opinion.

I would make a side plot here Chloe meets a cool girl who takes her out of her comfort zone and who she begins to fall in love with. It would be cool to write a side plot where her character is explored more deeply and she’s figuring out her sexuality. ( probably with unaccepting parents too.) it would also delve deeper into her childhood, home life, and mental health.

Wow. This sounds like such a cool, amazing story. I'd love to watch it. It's so tragic when your fans write your series better than you. Here's some ideas of mine that I would change for the show. Some aren't as great as yours, but I'll try. Age up the characters. I'd make them 16. 14 is too young for dating imo. Changes to Marinette and Ladybug. First, I'd make her look a LOT more Asian. She doesn't look Asian at all. She'd be a little clumsy, but very selfless. Her crush on Adrien wouldn't be instantaneous. She'd develop an interest in him, and her crush would grow as she gets to know the Adrien she met at school. She falls in love with him and not his celebrity persona. Of course, she gets flustered and distracted around him, but she and her time with him instead dictated and defined by her inability to talk to him. And of course, her Edward Cullen/Christian Grey stalking and obsessive behaviour is erased. I'm not sending that message to kids. As Ladybug, she has more powers. All Miraculouses have more powers tailored to their animal, but I'll elaborate on that later. Ladybug can emit a calming, purifying aura. It wards off and slowly purifys Akumas and she can shape it into things like balls. Lucky Charm would instead become a mode where the power takes her over and beats the Akuma. It's powerful and almost uncontrollable and makes her super tired after using it, especially after using the Miraculous Ladybug power, so she uses it against powerful Akumas. She starts off unconfident, but Cat Noir's own confidence and his belief in her grows her into a confident young woman and a great strategist and leader. Adrien and Cat Noir. Like you said, his civilian persona would have flaws. He'd be guarded with a lack of trust and more friendly and excusing of Chloe. He'd make a true friendship with Marinette instead of being an acquaintance friend of a friend. He gets inspired by that and his friendship with Nino to be more trusting and let loose and be a kid again. As Cat Noir, he'd be confident and snarky. He only sees Ladybug as a partner at first, but when he sees she's struggling it humanises her and he tries to boost her confidence. His additional powers would be the ones he had in the original concept. However, I'll take inspiration from the original Felix Cat and have something wrong with his Miraculous. When he uses Cataclysm, it can sometimes get out of control, and he can't stop it. He panics and it gets worse. Ladybug's Purifying Aura can get it under control and eventually stop it. She comforts him, she's patient with him when he's vulnerable, she helps him and treats him like an equal. This gets Cat to fall in love with Ladybug. But as a person, not as a horny view of a badass celebrity. Of course, removes his toxic possessiveness and entitlement. At school, he's vocal about his love for Ladybug, and it annoys and disappoints Marinette because she thinks he likes her because she's a superhero, and wants him to love her for her as she was able to see past his celebrity self. Limit the Miraculous to the original box and the Snake and Dragon. Having too much has caused the show to focus on that instead of the actual story. Plus, it creates a neat little team. Chloe. Still a bully. She's on friend terms with Adrien. Since Adrien and Marinette are on actual friend term, through shared friendship she gets to know and like Marinette. However, because of her insecurities, she still picks on her and Adrien fights for Mari's defence, and tells her to respect Mari or they won't be friends again. Adrien has a backbone in this. Have her be more friendly with Sabrina, but it's build off misguidance. Chloe's family problems are transparent from the start. She gets her Miraculous in a similar way she does the show. Style Queen steals it from a Hero (maybe Rena) and gives it to Chloe so she can help her. As part of her redemption, she turns against her mother. After that episode, Marinette actually helps her see her self worth instead of throwing her back down the toxic path. As part of her redemption arc, she learns from watching Lila and vows not to be like that. I'll elaborate on Lila later. Alya and the other heroes. Alya, like in the original concept, knows Marinette is Ladybug. She tells her so she can keep her secret. Ladyblog is more to help find Hawkmoth than find the Heroes identity. Her and Carapace get their Miraculouses from Master Fu rather than Ladybug, so her and Cat don't know who they are. Carapace can create more shields, and Rena Rouge can turn invisible. Ladybug during Style Queen tries to give the Bee to Alya, but she tries to give it to someone else before it's stolen by Style Queen and given to Chloe. Luka and Kagami. Luka gets introduced to the show earlier and is given more of a personality than just a Jacob arctype, healthy crushing on Marinette, cool mysterious guitar guy. Kagami is still an absolute badass, but her awkwardness about social norms is more apparent, and she tries to be Marinette's friend earlier on. Marinette is a little jealous of her and Adrien's friendship, as they are really close because Adrien relates to Kagami's situation with her mother, but it doesn't go further than that. Kagami and Luka get their Miraculouses, but instead of being in Ladybug's group, they're their own separate duo. Adrigami and possibly even Lukanette does happen to give Marinette and Adrien relationship experience before Adrienette start dating. Lila. Give her more of a presence. Make her more of a villain. Make Volpina a recurring villain. Have her be the incident that draws Adrien and Marinette together as they uses her treachery to band together and stand up to her and grow more confident. Use that for Chloe's development and redemption as she and Marinette band together to stop her. Instead of Chloe, have Lila be the one Hawkmoth was grooming in season 3. Maybe start with her like in the show, but when she shows how much she's grown and fights off the Akuma in Miraculor, switch to Lila. Lila literally Akumatised herself! Like I said, have Volpina recur in the show, have her be Miracle Queen, and have a storyline where either Hawkmoth grooms her to be his successor, or power gets to Lila's head and she wants more, so she steals the Butterfly Miraculous and becomes the ultimate big bad. Also, make her less of an obvious liar. That would curb frustration over the doormat classmates. Make her properly manipulative. Remove such unnecessary filler. Season 3 was rife with filler because they brought back unnecessary Akumas, and just showed off fanservicy stuff. Many things could be removed without any consequences to the show. Even Cat Blanc. Yes yes, it was a cool episode, but it really served nothing to the plot, and season 3 is the time where we should be focusing on the plot! We don't need the specials. I can forgive New York, but Shanghai just doesn't sound good... Make Mayura more of a villain. She was the best thing about season 3 and I wish she got more screen time. Don't change much about her character, maybe just remove the damage on her Miraculous. Or don't remove it at all. Keep it there and have her powers get out of control like Adrien's. But she is a villain. She doesn't care. More of a threat to the team. Hawkmoth. I don't know exactly how I'd change his character, but I know I would throw out him establishing he cares about Adrien when he suddenly doesn't in Season 3. But power wise, after Akumatizing someone, he could send out a swarm of smaller Akumas to Akumatize other people to creates Lesser Akumas, minions of the main Akumatized person. They're weaker and purified easily, but do give the team a run for their money. Have someone in the media hate the Miraculous team. Have them blame the constant Akuma attacks on Ladybug and Cat Noir. Have them be a reporter, or a mayor promising to rid the city of Akumas once and for all. Have them be Chloe's dad or something. Just for worldbuilding. The closest we've got to worldbuilding when it comes to the Akuma attacks was Anansai. There has to be more people who see the dangers of the attacking Akuma, and think that Ladybug and her group is merely delaying Hawkmoth instead of competently finding him and defeating him. Let's show that please. Season focus. The show focuses too much on filler and won't move out of it's fluff phases. I wouldn't allow this to happen. Allow the first season to be fluffy until Marinette meets Master Fu. Have season 2 focus on professing Adrien and Marinette's relationships on equal terms. I'd even keep them having an idea that the other is Ladybug or Cat, like in Kwamibuster. Have season 3 focusing on finding Hawkmoth's identity. I like the investigation team idea you had. Have less episodic Akumas, have a few recurring, but don't focus on them. Just, please. More episodes like Feast. Miraculous could be a much more better and influencal show like this, like yours or like any other idea in the comments. I'd watch it all day. It's sad that Miraculous is losing what made it special...

7:01 - I love the fact that Marinette is Scooby-Doo😂

This is really good. But I am wary about the possibility of making the five of them become the Scooby doo gang. I do think your version is still better because it doesn't pad out the time like the main show does. It gets to the meat of the plot and ends in a shorter amount of time. I also like how you did Chloe's character. It's way better than what Thomas has decided to do. I especially like how you write her and Adrien actually being friends. In the main storyline, it doesn't feel like it.

i would just like to see adrien have actual like dude emotions, or like his side of the story. there is like zero emotion and i feel like we just get everything from marinettes POV.

Also ladybug is the creation side so the clay thing ands more.Also I think the kwamis are a vital part of miraculous.

"...but they really only serve as exposition dumps." I think that isn't true. The show doesn't do too much with Kwamis, but I think that they are very important. Not just as someone for our heroes to talk to (Although the show does this way too often), but as opposites to that persons personality. Tikki is very calm and benevolent, which does make for interesting back and forth, but the real spotlight is on the relationship between Plagg and Adrien. Plagg not only is the complete opposite of Adrien, but also helps him when he's feeling down in less traditional ways than you'll usually see. I do, however, feel like they are overused. Often interactions with Kwamis will "show instead of tell" what our characters are feeling. They play off the heroes well, but I think it's better if their roles are downplayed considerably. Other than that, you got pretty much everything right.

Honestly for the romance you can even keep marionettes obsession over Adrian, and adrian’s obsession of ladybug. Which they will realize they weren’t actually in love with who they are and end up falling in love as marionette x cat noir so they fall in love with who they truly are. Also make it so the transformations make them not look like them at all like change hair color and make it longer or something

One thing I would change is of course is downsizing Marinette's crush on Adrien. It's really unhealthy for a teen to have such an obsession like what Marinette's so in my version would have Mari build up that crush slowly to a (healthy) level. It'll be a starting friendship in the first few episodes and will eventually have romantic tension. Kind of like how in real life a teen could start being friends with someone and then slowly be like "oh they actually pretty cute"

A lot of good points! I dont know about the -unlimited powers are unlimited- idea, because that's an important aspect to keep tension high in fights: if they use their powers too early, they're on a time limit. It adds tension and makes it so that the characters need to strategise since they can't whip out their powers willy nilly. There could be other ways to add that tension for sure. Making ladybug inherently more smart and strategy-oriented could take away the need for that power limit too.

One thing I would have done was have a slight deconstruction of the young teen super hero drama. I really would want this to be a young adult show where aspects like government overreach, public reputation would be a theme in this show. In my version the french government would probably try to take control of the superheros, and if Chat Noir , and Ladybug refuse, they would probably try to manufacture their own superheros made in the military with advanced tech to give them artifical "superpowers", and they would operate more as a police force, and a little bit like a military with them fighting terrorists or something. Another thing I would do is have alot more teenagers of Marinette's HighShool get superpowers but abuse them in many ways, one idea I could think of is that one of them gets superpowers, and gets a feeling of superiority, and has this belief that people with superpowers must rule over the normal civilians with no powers, and starts a villainous group that wants to topple the french government to instill a government full of supers who want to enslave the normal population. And have some sort of themes with how the population views the superheros. I'd like to imagine that a group of people in paris would probably oppose superheros like Ladybug and Chat noir, and the show would have them protesting against them, maybe they can have their own version of Spiderman's J. Jonah Jameson, and the Daily Bugle trying to slander Ladybug and Chat Noir as bad guys. I really feel like a show like Miraculous Ladybug has alot of potential to delve into ideas like these, maybe someday they can make their original planned anime version where it will be darker and edgier that will have mature themes like what I listed. Anyways, I like your video, has lots of good ideas

The perfect rewrite to me would be where Adrian is the Only Sane Man, there's something so funny about there being a normal guy getting superpowers and then having to contend with the others with similar powers being completely insane.

Right now, I’m currently writing a story involving Ladybug and Cat Noir’s Paris being visited by the Teen Titans from my universe, this universe being a world where Marvel and DC characters coexist. Basically, Hawk Moth akumatizes a former soldier into a guy who can open portals like the Horse Miraculous and can also open portals to other universes because Hawk Moth believes the Titans are the key to getting what he wants. I’ve been watching the show and been analyzing what I can to pay close enough attention to continuity. But I’ve made some changes like Hearthunter and Miracle Queen having never occurred and the events of the New York special still happening. I’ve talked about this little paragraph so that you guys know when the story takes place as it will end with Hawk Moth being defeated for good. The Titans will help Marinette realize how wrong it is keep secrets like the identities of Rena Rouge, Carapace, and others from Cat Noir. They’ll tell her that Adrian while is a good person, he isn’t some perfect guy that she expects him to be and is free to pick the girls he likes. They’ll help her open up to him about her feelings, but help her to tone down the obsession. Lastly, Adrian will get some growth too because the boy needs it.

Wow I really loved how you changed some of the key aspects of the story now, in truth the show has a lot of extra stuff that I think it doesn’t really need. One thing that I would add if I were to have made the show is more lore aspects about the miraculouses, how they came to be, if there’s some sort of anti miraculous that was created for the purpose of evil, how the order of the guardians started, I thought the show really missed the opportunity to delve more into that aspect. I’d love to see it if they build upon that in the next seasons.

You’re incredibly creative for planning and drawing this out, you’re really talented. The only thing personally that I would change from your story (this is just my criticism and I’m not a professional, and for the record your story is a thousand times better than the real show’s plot) is that you said Adrien’s father would have a “cold but loving” approach instead of in the real show where he’s just a downright asshole to Adrien. If I were reworking the show, I would keep the downright asshole persona of his dad. It keeps angst for Adrien and gives him more of a reason for us to sympathize with him and relate to him, he is a main character and should be more relatable. Most of us aren’t famous, and can’t relate to the struggles of people just using us to get higher in life (many people do suffer from trust issues like him, but his trust issues stem from him being a celebrity, which most of us can’t relate to). Having a characters only angst be that _he’s just so famous and people use him_ almost makes him feel like kind of a narcissist being ungrateful for his fame because he is rich, attractive, and in your story, a cold but still _loving_ father. Keeping Adrien’s dad as being a twat just helps us empathize with him more as a character imo. But still, you’re a genius and a much better show writer than Thomas :)

FINALLY, CHLOE AIN'T GETTING DIRT

Overall I like this version more than the show at this moment, but I do have a few problems with it. 1. I don't like that Marinette and Adrien fall in love with their superhero personas while being in a relationship. That feels almost like emotional cheating. Couldn't they just stay friends in the superhero costume and have the drama come from something else, like them feeling like they don't give each other enough time and support in their relationship? Sure, they would both be busy with the hero stuff but that could still work. For example, Marinette would call Adrien to check if he is safe when a villain appears but he wouldn't answer because he would be Cat Noir, she gets annoyed he didn't pick up, he makes up a bad excuse so she starts feeling suspicious that he might do something behind her back and get upset and he would have no proof that he wasn't doing anything wrong. Another thing could be that she'd need help with something in a set meeting place and time, Adrien would say he'll help her, a villain attacks and she thinks Adrien can still help her but this time to defeat the villain, but he won't be at the meeting place so she thinks he just let her down. I feel like small misunderstanding are to be preffered over (almost) emotional cheating, even tho they can be a bit too convenient in some eyes. 2. It feels too slow and short. Don't get me wrong, a slow pacing is better than what the show has now, but the main supethero plot feels stale without side villains and new superheroes (tho I would like them to be full time superheroes). I also feel like there's plenty to be done after discovering Hawkmoth identity and even after defeating him, like someone being tempted to use the miraculous power similar to what Hawkmoth wanted and, despite their good intention, making a magical disaster that would need to be repaired so people would see how serious the miraculous magic really is. Cutting it short and sweet is better than overstaying your welcome, but 3 seasons feels really short, assuming the writing would remain good or decent through the seasons. 3. Kwamis are a good idea in the show, it just down to the writing that they are exposition dumps. The fact that they have their own personality bounces off nicely with the fact that Ladybug and Car Noir act different, more like their kwamis, while they are in the costume. Just cut off the lines in which they just narate to the kwamis what we already saw and have the kwamis give more interesting and maybe historical information about how they work. 4. Chloe's redemption arc feels too radical in this version. I kinda like how in the show she is still a jerk even when she is "good" in that episode. Make her be rude all the time, even after being reformed, but not meaning the rude words as anything else than an old habits die hard kind of thing or even as friendly jokes. I really like the idea of her figuring out who Hawkmoth is tho, it works so well especially with the fact that her family has much influence in the city, just like Adrien's family, influence that she can use to figure it all out.

This is no hate I just. Thought of this) But what will they say when they transform like imagine Adrien saying "Plagg claws out" and the viewer being like "who TF is Plagg🤨?"

I really love this! A little personal addition I would like to add is Gabriel Agreste loving his son but not being the best at showing it. He does it behind the scenes, as Hawkmoth (aka the gorilla akuma), until he has to learn that his son thinks he hates him because he doesn't show it at all as Gabriel. And he's partly doing this whole thing FOR Adrien, he knows that theres a gap in his life ever since his mom died/got into a coma/whatever. He knows he's missing this loving energy, he wants Adrien to be happy. He's also incredibly lonely without his wife, and attaches to his personal assistant Nathalie throughout the show. Somewhere in season 2 end/or beginning of season 3, he starts taking a more active role in Adriens life, making Adrien feel like he actually exists. Spending time with him, helping him with school stuff, all the things his mom used to do. Bonding. We see this happening, and thats why when Adrien figures out his dad is Hawkmoth after he's actually starting to become a good parent, he struggles and it stings more. He runs away and has complete denial, straining all his personal relationships. With his friends, because he doesn't believe them, and with his father, because he knows deep down that its true. Idk, more humanizing for Gabriel but also more angsty for Adrien. Itd also be cool if Gabriel actually reveals himself to be Hawkmoth to Adrien without knowing he's Chat Noir, as a way to console him saying his mother will be back and they can be a family again. I also really like the idea someone else brought up of the magic Hawkmoth uses having a cost, to bring someone back to life, someone else has to die. If Adrien saw it before he had that conflict with Ladybug, he'd agree. Ladybug is more connected to the people because, as Marinette, she's very active in her community, she wants to protect the people she loves. Chat Noir never had that loving connection to a community because he's been so incredibly lonely as a child celebrity. He just wants to destroy the Bad Guy. That is, until Adrien connects to other people through his friendship with Marinette and the others, as well as facing these problems directly with Ladybug. And then when he finally reaches the end of the story, going through his whole inner conflict about human life, seeing the cost of what it would be to bring his mom back, he has to say no. Sacrificing the living is not worth it. Even if it was any person, any living person in Paris or the rest of the world, it wouldn't be worth it, and no other human should have that power. That's what splits his dad and him apart. Anyway, excuse my ESSAY im just completely in love with this version of the story.

really good video and a cool take on the story although I have some different takes then you. First im not so sure about the idea of making ladybugs power an ever shape-shifting blob, i know her lucky charm can seem a bit deus ex machina but it at least forces her to think creatively and have it not be super obvious, this power seems like it would give her too much power in solving situations (i'd say make it more like episodes like dark cupid where they foreshadow the tool to use in defeating the villains). next i'd keep the kwamiis but your right in the opinion there more just exposition dumps so i'd say do more with how hawkmoth treats his compared to the others, make it seem more like he is a slave and in general that is how kwamiis have been treated throughout time as tools/servants but marinette/adrian treat theres as true friends/companions going out of there way to do stuff for them and for like say the finally have them act against say hawkmoths wishes/show more free will and be more than just a tool. Also i'd maybekeep some level of limit to there powers at least starting out but gain more control later (some form of recharge not as extreme as the shows but enough that they dont seem to overpowered, like a cool down in a fighting game) last I have to ask would akumatizations work the same in this world (emotional people turn villain then go back to normal) or would they stay villains (& if so is it either good people turned villains or criminals given powers) cause if it's still the same I'd give cat noir the power to destroy the akuma butterfly while ladybug repairs damages that way there can be instances were ladybug is out and cat noir needs to solve things ( because since ladybug has all the powers she needs to be the one to solve the situation). Still really great video would love to see a continuation if you have more things to add/would do regarding say future stories after or other elements

It sure is always fun to think of how one would do different about something one likes, like Miraculous. Sure would scrap the Kwami's too, have Chat Noir and Ladybug be on a more equal standing with one another and so on. Your take is really fun too tho.

My changes: 1. I really like the equal POV so I'm keeping that. We focus on both Adrien and Marinette's lives, maybe we give more bonding moments between ladybug and chat on patrols or when Adrien sneaks out to Marinette's balcony. 2. I want to change the lore of Kwamii's. I would love it if their Kwamii's appeared as normal animals like Plagg is actually a black cat and Tiki is an actual ladybug. They only transform into Kwamii's to go into the jewelry and the more you bond with your Kwamii the more powers you unlock. I think that when they transform they also gain parts of their Kwamii's personality mixed in with their own so they act a little different when transformed. (Thought it was a little too jarring how Adrien went from sweet and charismatic to goofy and punny and Marinette from her awkward confident self to suddenly a bold daring leader) 3. Adrien has a good relationship with Chloe and they are friends until Adrien starts to branch out more. 4. Character reveals were dumb so season 1 should have all the characters, of course they get their time to shine. I like that Master Fu chooses who gets a miraculous and he's all mysterious about it. (Only reason Chloe gets the Bee is on accident somehow, and at the start she just uses it to be famous, but her identity is still a secret. She shows up to events/commercials as Queen Bee) 4. I like the idea that we don't know who creates the akuma's at first and they just randomly appear when somebody gets too emotional. 5. Season 1 I just want it to be a villain of the day type thing with more slice of life thrown in and character introduction. We see Ladybug and Chat trying to work with each other, learn their powers, establish trust in each other, and they get introduced to Master Fu towards the last 3 episodes. End season one with L & C seeing an Akuma talk to something before attacking them and it gets them curious and then the last few minutes we show a dark silhouette vowing to capture L & C's Miraculous. Season 2 is Hawk Moth's reveal, more Miraculous Users, and we get more lore about the Miraculous origins. Of course this is going to be a dramatic season full of love tension and we get character development for our main cast, Chloe especially. We learn she isn't all bad and that its just an emotional defense because of how she was raised, but she is just showing potential for change. L & C try to figure out where Hawk Moth may be hiding and who he is and they come really close midway through until we introduce Lila as a sub villain whose job is to mess with them and throw them off the trail and stuff. Season 3 we would get Miyura? However you spell it and she deals with the amuks and the season could be focused on trying to stop her and Lila and Master Fu reveals the origin of the Miraculous and we get to unlock all of Lady and Chats powers and we learn about all the previous Ladybugs and Chats. Basically this entire season is exposition and trying to wrap up our Characters arcs. I want Hawk Moth defeated and Adrien to find out it was his Dad all along. Season 4 I would say in a huge Twist Chloe's Mom becomes the new big bad. She finds out about the existence of the miraculous through the help of Miyura who thinks she use Style Queen for her own plans. This season Chloe would get her redemption arc, we'd see a rift forming between L & C (Chat blanc arc where Adrien thinks he's just as evil as his Dad and he gets manipulated by Natalie to join her plan) Chloe starts to prove herself as a real hero and stops messing around in order to actually do some good maybe she ends up being a temporary replacement for Chat Noir since he's dealing with his own thing. -All this will get settled at the end of this season and we get identity reveals for all the Miraculous users, etc. Miyura escapes again though and Chloe gets to reconcile with her family. As a final season I would want all the couples to get together and there is now a bigger threat outside of Paris that needs to be dealt with so they gotta go on a long journey to defeat amuks around the planet. Master Fu reveals all the stuff that he did in the original show with how its his fault and such and wants to hand his position over to Marinette AND Adrien. Since the temple is back that's what Miyura is after and its up to the two of them to defeat her. The others stay in Paris to protect it while L & C are gone. yadda yadda yadda you know how that kind of arc ends so I might as well save the word space.

yes i totally agree with you! your story was amazing! i really wish this was actually the show's plot, but I feel like they are holding back because its a kids show which it really doesn't suit the concept of ML, cause like imagine how powerful it would be if it was directed more towards teens i mean lets be honest i didnt know it was a kids show until it was confirmed plus mostly teens watch this show anyway, the show's emotions and depth will be more enhanced. TBH i feel like in order for them to reveal their identities marinette and adrien should fall in love with their actual selves, ladybug isnt the real marinette its just this character of a strong superhero that is supposed to solve everything, and adrien isnt himself in his civilian form because hes so restricted by his dad, people and the fact that he is a model, being his true self would ruin the Agreste's reputation of being perfect, being chat noir really gives him the opportunity of being free, being himself, since his mask prevents everyone else from knowing hes adrien he can be himself. Which is why i think Marichat is proabaly one of the most important thing that should happen next to defeating hawkmoth, othewise when they reveal their identities without their imperfect selves bonding its just going to be, " i love marinette cause shes ladybug" not cause shes marinette and vise versa. This will be a bonus because marinette would stop overly obsessing over adrien and chat being in love with someone who isnt in love with him, and they will be more closer it will take a turn the same thing just the roles are switched. i hope season 4 will give us something new because since the new movie of ML has released, so many things have improved although everything has stayed the same but stronger, the time, the characters, the emotions have improved a bit, so this gives me hope season 4 will be better :D

hmm if I could change the show, I don't think I'd really need to change /that/ much. Like, I could. But honestly as is, there's about 5 things the show could do to drastically improve itself: 1. See through Chloe's redemption arc. If you have to have an irredeemable teenager, Lila is right there! 2. Dial back Chat and Marinette's creep factors. They can still lose themselves a bit to having crushes on someone else, since lbr that's something a lot of teenagers do, without sexually assaulting or stalking their crush. 3. Dial back the number of miraculouses to ONE box. I don't mind there being a dozen or more in that box, but one box is more than enough. Granted, so far this issue has only come up in the specials and I'm not entirely convinced the specials are canon to the show given how they're completely ignored, so maybe this won't be a longterm problem for the show. But right now its just hanging out there and I just...one box is enough. 4. Let Marinette date Luka and Adrien date Kagami for a season. Or even half a season. But let them experience semi-healthy but still complicated and not perfect teenage relationships where they don't behave like absolute idiots towards their crushes every time they see them. Let the kids grow! 5. Marichat. And I don't say that as a Marichat shipper, I say that as a 'they are the same people who react differently when they do or don't know who they're actually talking to or what appearances they have to keep up for those around them, and letting their most vulnerable selves be friends would just be so, so so so so good.' There's obviously a lot more they could do that could take the show from being just good to being something people tell their kids and grandkids about (like good ol' Avatar), but at a minimum they should at least round out their characters over time, see through their story beats, and not get in over their heads with stuff that's not going to improve any part of the show. (At least the food transformation things give them the ability to transform if they need very specific powers - what does having tons of other miraculous boxes provide????)

This is soooooo much better and it sounds a bit more mature! I have an idea about after they defeat Hawkmoth where you left off, though no one has to read it. ~ So after they defeat Hawkmoth things are going good. Adrian and Marinette makeup and start a new healthy relationship, Alya and Nino decide to retry their relationship and Alya decides to pay a bit more attention to her life instead of heroes and villains, and Chloe decides to be a good friend to her best friends and may start taking an interest in Nathaniel. School ends and this new season takes place over summer break. The 1st episode is a recap and shows them all saying goodbye to their teachers for the summer and shows bits and pieces of all their lives and how they've changed since Hawkmoth. The end of ep 1 ends with Ladybug and Chat Noir sitting on the Eifle Tower talking about what happened to Hawkmoth's miraculous and deciding that as long as Paris was safe it didn't matter. And that's the plot of the new season, a new villain arises and a few new heros too (I always liked the other heros but thought that they should keep the miraculous and use them to give Ladybug and Chat Nior a vacation day or backup) new heros like Rena Rouge, Queen Bee, and Carapace and a new villain called Monarch and maybe even some costume and magic upgrades for our original hero duo too. When akumas start popping up again, stronger than ever and with stronger emotions the duo go into action and decide to bring in more power because if Gabriel is locked away who is being evil? While the gang is out having fun at the beach/pool/camping/some form of fun activity they meet a new kid in the area her name is Lila and she seems nice but they quickly see that she is like the old Chloe as Chloe herself is quick to point out. Lila leaves and they all shrug it off. Throughout the season they slowly get closer to finding out who is behind the new akumas and they also need to be there for their friend Chloe because she is having parent trouble and love life trouble, (we need something to bring them together out of costume and show support to Chloe for all the times she was there for them.) As the season comes to a close they find out the new villain is Monarch and at the end of the season they remember Lila as they return to school and see a few new students. Will the gang defeat Monarch and discover her identity? Will Chloe be alright with all of her home troubles? Will Marinette keep her boyfriend out of Lila's grasp? Will Alya be able to resist the urge to go out into the dangerous fray and research? Will Nino and Adrian be able to help Nathaniel get the girl? Will that poor teacher ever quit her frustrating job? My favorite change you made is having it so the two main characters get together in the middle of the series rather than during the finale. You don’t see that often and it allows for more time to see them together

In this rewrite, I think another storyline that could be followed would be to have at the end of the season or mid-season, pick whatever important time, Ladybug and Cat Noir would find a clue together as superheroes as to who Hawk Moth is. They rush to tell the "Ladyclub" or whatever, some name, and realize they have each others' clue but can't tell how they found it out. They become suspicious of each other but both come up with excuses, Marinette being relieved, but Adrien can still tell something is up and starts to become suspicious of Marinette, looking to find who she/Ladybug really is while keeping it a secret from the rest of the club. He becomes more distant and Marinette notices, and tries to figure out why as well. Later on, Adrien figures out Marinette's identity and is shocked but continues to keep it a secret in order to keep her safe. Alya reveals their identities to each other and Marinette is hurt that Adrien kept his secret from her, and the fact she was torn between Adrien and Cat Noir while he was dating both, and that is what causes the rift between them. Adrien also has issues with letting go, so when Marinette leaves him, he tries too hard to get her back instead of giving her time. In the finale, he is finally able to let his mother go and finally fills the hole in his heart from her death (because a coma wouldn't fit).

That was pretty interesting. I always love to see People rework Stories and changing them up a bit. I especially love that Investigator Club Idea! 😊 I grew up with a Ton of different Kid-Detective Stories, and this one kinda reminds me of the Tiger Team. It also had a Group of Friends who started a Detective Club and tried to uncover the Mistery behind a Villain in a fancy Suit who could Mind Control People. 😆 What did you think of the Miraculous Special in New York? Could you maybe make a Video about it?

not quite actual feedback on what the plot could be, but as someone who has had interactions with plenty of young miraculous fans (i sell art at conventions), they’re VERY quick to tell me how pointless they feel some of canon’s plot holes are. there’s always a quick defense of “but it’s for kids!” but in my experience, they’re the ones with the least patience for the plot hole BS lmao i swear, the amount of times i’ve heard from kids “it’s so stupid! they’re obviously the heroes!” etc makes it hard for me to believe anyone beyond the producers themselves enjoy the overly complicated “will they won’t they” of finding out who each other are haha

Ugh, I LOVE your versions of Marinette and Adrien so much better! Marinette in the show is too obsessive and Adrien, as you said, is much too perfect. Plus, spending equal time with the main protagonists and giving more time to the side characters is brilliant. I would have loved for Miraculous to have done that. I really love the idea of Marinette having pre-conceived ideas of who Adrien is and actually dislikes him at first before slowly seeing who he truly is and falling for THAT part of him. Also, giving more credit to Marinette's wit and quick-thinking would have worked so well in her favor. I could see her being similar to Mulan in that way, where she finds unorthodox ways to solve a problem and somehow makes it work. Add that to her natural kindness and lack of confidence and you've got a sweet little character there! We would get to see her grow, which is fun and endearing! No more creepy stalker Marinette who gets to deus ex machina her way out of everything, please and thank you.

I love the idea for the big like season 2 crux is that Ladybug and Chat Noir get in this massive fight thats been building all season, and Ladybug ends up saying something "i don't need you" or "all you do is destroy things" or smth, and it hits super close to home for Adrien because of his abusive family and this really close relationship he has reaffirms a lot of those doubts so he gets all *sad* and runs away. Marinette would like immediately feel bad knowing her but she has no way to contact Chat Noir and a bonding moment for her and Adrien is her being like "i know i for sure went to far in on this friend I have and now I don't know what to do or I what I'd say to him" and Adrien is like "yeah bro i get what that guys going through" lmao. And it's like important because in this version of Adrien is more guarded so he sort of is vulnerable to Marinette about his insecurities and shit in a way he could never be with his other friends. I want this show to be good SO BAD. Good video :D
