Wait just a minute, if the two crowns were united that would mean that Phillip V would be king of France and Spain, the Spanish Bourbons unlike their French counterparts where way more progressive as the reigns of Ferdinand and Charles III saw many progressive and economic reforms, and the French revolution would never really happen because the Bourbons in this timeline won the 7 years war. Also to add the peasantry of Spain was highly catholic while the French revolutionaries weren’t because they were “middle class” while the actual peasantry despised the revolution because it was very anti catholic and they adored the royal family. Also without the French losing 3 major wars in a row they would be in debt, and better French institutions could help economically build up Spains mercantile economy, meaning that Charles IIIs reforms would have been larger and more impactful. Also side note the war of Polish Succession exists and the partitions happened because Poland lost Bourbon support, so Poland would have probably been a Bourbon satellite with a Bourbon-Saxon King. Also project Bourbon made it sound like you were gonna do a video where what if the French reformed, what if Spain reformed, and other Bourbon states got their stuff together, and they all wanted round 4, reclaiming central Europe and stomping the Anglo-Hapsburg beast. Well, Ferdinand isn't a Spaniard. You could argue that he was in our timeline, but not this timeline. He's a member of a French dynasty, installed through a war, who is likely still French. There's also 100 years of divergence that change their opinion on the whole situation, Maybe its not plausible, but that was where I was coming from
