We spent a weekend staycation at Nickelodeon Suites Resort Orlando and had an absolutely amazing time doing everything they had to offer. We had character meals with Spongebob, Dora, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. We learned moves from the Power Rangers and watched a live show of Double Dare. We even got slimed and saw the Nick time capsule! It was truly awesome!

When I was a kid, one of my biggest desires/goals was to go to Nick Studios in Orlando and get slimed. I'm still quite bummed that I'll never be able to. :( I'm so thankful to people like you who filmed this place while it still existed. I can live vicariously through you. :) I'm glad you had fun!

The last year of Nickelodeon Hotel in Florida. If they had renovated it in 2016 before it closed down, then it would’ve been more upgraded and the characters and other events would’ve been here still and the Nickelodeon Hotel in Punta Cana has less characters now

Sooooo, To celebrate their 10th anniversary they sold the hotel to holiday inn.... *Sigh* This place has been my childhood. I've been visiting since it first opened. I might visit this weekend and have a last go. I wonder what the Holiday inn rebrand will have in store for us in April... Other than that let's all try to make the Nick hotel's final months the best we've ever had... Hope you had a good time.

A little history and info on the nick hotel they are still open as a holiday inn suite but in the gift shop they still sell Nickelodeon and universal merchandise the hotel was originally a holiday inn suite but then nick teamed up with Holliday inn and made it a nick branded hotel so Nickelodeon decided to end the deal with holiday inn and start a deal with another hotel brand which I don’t know the name of and are opening up more hotels across the world. One is already opening in the Dominican Republic in Puta Cana and more are set to open in spring of 2019.

Now I really miss Double Dare and Double Dare Family. I'm pretty sure the stuff they did on that show back in the day would be a huge safety issue for today's standards haha

Thank you for uploading these vids! I didnt know that you could meet the Dino Charged Power Rangers and the Ninja Turtles at the Nickelodeon Resort. I definately gotta go back to Orlando with the fams!

+That's So Ria! The Power Rangers were part of a special event over the weekend (free for people staying on site). The Ninja Turtles were part of the character dinner (upcharge). Both events were a lot of fun!

I really loved this video and all your other videos! I'm glad you guys had a great time and got to enjoy the resort before it becomes holiday inn again. I always wanted to go here as a little kid but never had the chance. I'm glad I got to feel the experience of this hotel from your vlogs. Sad to see that Nick no longer has a home in Orlando.

Looks Like an Awesome place to stay. Sad to hear that it will be going away. I know it would have been extremely nostalgic for my Wife and I. Not to mention still relevant to the kids.

lol oh common, your not that old, you'll be around in 26 years! Also, that laser beam thing looked extremely hard! The slimming was prob the best part!

Ive always wanted one of those islandoasis blenders. I wish we would have stayed there atleast once. My girls want to stay for the bunk beds and I couldnt see spending $180 a night. but if all that stuff is included that would not be bad. Double Dare bringing back some memories. The old host (Marc Summers) is now a producer. He produced Restaurant Impossible. He still would love to see Nick bring back DD. I had fun watching this one. Thanks blurry Kyle

+David Thacker We actually paid for a basic room and the folks at the front upgraded us when we checked in. Jessie was stoked about the bunk beds after I would have figured she would want the regular queen sized bed. Go figure. I'll probably throw the full Double Dare show that we saw up at some point. It was very well done for such a small audience in the hotel.

+heloise121 Ha! Being slimed was part of the Nickelodeon tv show culture. Sliming could either be seen as a reward or punishment on their shows. For me, it was kind of being able to relive childhood for a little bit when I wanted to be part of the Nick shows. The laser challenge was so much insanity and we only had it on easy and medium.
