Very beautiful B&W photography of the city of light as we like to remember it, accompanied by Erik Satie is a real treat and an ode to Paris of the past. Alas Paris of today is nothing like this unless you tour in the early morning hours if that! The city is chaotic and where I feel most unsafe.

Very good. Takes time and commitment. Reminiscent of Brassai's and Kertez's work.

For me, Satie is Paris; Paris, Satie, the mood within his music, universal.

Some nice work but the pace of the slide show is way too quick and let's the whole piece down.
@philbarber9738 Жыл бұрын
The video is spoken in film language, the pacing deliberate to the work overall. "Every picture tells a story," however, giving you the option of rewatching or pausing the video at particular images to view them as individual works.

@@philbarber9738 Does the pace aid the viewing experience? No.

Paris était tellement mieux sans vélib, trottinettes 🛴 et vtc. Paris avec un tramway une honte !
