Chris also went from hating fish roe to conquering one of his least favorite foods at Saizeriya. I believe that one cooking method can make you "love a food you didn't like", so please keep trying! I have not been able to eat natto (fermented soybeans) since I was a child, so I was often called a foreigner even though I am Japanese :)

Yes! Every place tastes different and our tastes change so it's important to keep trying new foods and even old foods in different places! At Saizeriya it was so mild and easy to eat. I think cuz it is a family style restaurant they make food that all tastes can eat. I have always eaten natto but I like it more sometimes than others. Some people in Kansai don't like it so I understand that even some Japanese people don't like it!
