Holy crap! All this time I thought I just had a bunch of disorganized interests! But now I'm finding out that all my main interests in psychology, sociology, history, politics and geography are entirely related! This video really helped me find a breakthrough in myself, thank you!

I really appreciate this video. I was somewhat having doubts about the social science degree that I am about to pursue but after watching this I really do feel that I made the right choice and the core questions that social science asks.

Love this video so much!!! so simple to understand. I do think geography has been mis-represented here. It's not just about how location affects societies, it's about how countries and governments relate to eachother, how the world operates such as through globalisation, aswell as urgent environmental issues such as the Climate Emergency.

I'm confused why economics isn't included here because in my opinion it is a reflection on our needs and how do we get it and it's usually through some form of interaction so why it is not here? I'm not a good social scientists so why it is not?

Because the stereotypical Humanities major is frightened of math, so it is instead put into Accounting or Business, despite the fact that Economics relies almost exclusively on the Social Sciences, and only a tiny bit of basic algebra.

where are economics, linguistics, communications, and information science.....? maybe i guess they are under those (Anthropology, Geography, Sociology, Political Science, and Psychology)..but they also deserve a place on their own...just a suggestion.

Basic Social Sciences should be Anthropology, Economics, Geography, History, Linguistics, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology. Disciplines like Communication, Social Work, and Counseling are considered Applied Social Sciences. As time continues to evolve, more disciplines arise and claimed themselves as Social Sciences disciplines.

Anthropology is in the lingguistical mean languages change throughout the history and also Anthropology is about human and everycultiral belief physical biologycal study of man kind etc...
